Damn what a way to end a career and destroy a families life! Bet there are many stories out there like this one, and just like the ones in the book "Its a Snitch Culture". If the ATF doesn't take care of their own people after becoming an informant working undercover how could one even think they might for a street informant?
The guy is getting what he deserves. The drug war is a failure.
The drug war is a failure true, a family living in fear is not what they deserve. This man fulfilled his part of the job, and now the ATF should be required to fulfill their part by providing this family with whatever it takes to be able to live a happy, safe and stable life!

ONe should not be surprised. ATF is the least competent federal law enforcement agency. The FBI takes the cream of the crop; the Marshals get the next in line; ATF takes whatever's left over.
Stupid people armed with federal law-enforcement power - what could go wrong with that?
(Yes, "Stupid people with power" is the motto for ALL government workers, everywhere, with about enough exceptions to cover on both of your hands. But the crab-ridden bitch at child support doesn't have a gun. Yet).
