All this talk about who has how much money like that can create some advantage is HOG wash.
Sharon Anderson received 42% of the vote in the last Attorney Genrals race on about $50.
Also, there is canidates who haven't even registered who are expected to upset Lantry, Thune and Harris.
It appears the non-progressives have the money and progressive DFLers are challengers.
Where will the slumlords line up?
The Wellstone legacy continues to haunt us with these "progressive" candidates. Tax us until we can't take care of our families so those "unfortunate" people who society is against can have a "good" life.
10:07 - If I was a responsible landlord I sure wouldn't back a progressive candidate. The traditional non-progressive candidates sure don't like landlords but the progressives like them evenless. I'm afraid all landlords will be lumped into one basket of slumlords. The progressive solution will ALWAYS be that government can do it best and we'll see more city/non-profit owned rental than ever before. They sure won't make themselves or their friends live up to the code they enforce for current landlords.
Jamowat
Mayor Kelly had a lot of money too. Look what happened to him!
Kelly got beat by the Progressives (they ran Coleman's race and helped him morph into the Progressive he is today). So now the progressives are ready to empty the council of the last two members who stand against them once in a while.
What's funny is that this is still a one party town.
