VENDETTA AGAINST THE CITY?
An anonymous poster left this comment under another topic. I felt it was worthy of a title since it sums up the anguish felt by many at the hands of Code Enforcement.
A "vendetta" against the city?
People have had their lives destroyed, been pushed into bankruptcy and out of their homes and onto the streets, children's college funds gone, home schooled children now forced to go to public school because the parent has to now get a job to make up the extra income, people accused falsely with criminal charges, city officials trying to profit from getting control of people's homes, retirements evaporated into thin air, and a guilty, dirty, slimy government that hasn't even made a phony attempt of an investigation and you think that some people have a "vendetta" against the city?
I find that very hard to believe!

And then come the property owners who are willing to spend what will probably be a million dollars in legal fees to make the city do the right thing (at the taxpayers expense I might add) and all they get is "trash talked" and made fun of by a bunch of fools who don't want to acknowlege reality and the cowards who are too afraid to even voice an opinion. When the last laugh rings out over the city, it will very interesting to see "who's laughing now!" Equally as interesting will be all the postings on blogs like this one about how could this ever have happened, and why didn't someone stop it before it got to such a serious and expensive situation.
I feel its more like the city has a vandetta against the lives of private homeowners that live below the quality of life the city of St.Paul would like them to..Then in return by turning these properties over to their developer friends they have control of whom is allowed to occupy these condo's and townhomes (which are unaffordable to the less desireable) Most of these developers are getting TIF and other concessions furnished by the government at the taxpayers expense, whether the private homeowners realize it or not they are the ones in the end making up for the revenue to fund these projects and the public sevices that are needed for these developments..As it is showing in the crime rate, vacant buildings list and homelessness, the results of these decisions the city is making aren't in the best interest of the community and its future..

This story is passed from person to person, from generation to generation.
Creates a lack of trust in our City government.
city o'city what a mess you have made, of your raids on innocent human flesh, you have no similarity with the Apostle Paul and we'll be watching when you take the great fall, you've berated the least of the people to lay more jewels of corruption upon your table of feast. You go here and there looking to devour knowing for now you have the power. You resemble the beast as you fleece and fleece the desolate ones who lay at your feet. I hope you've enjoyed this and write it for you, the ones who know what evil power can do.
