The court of appeals and the district court are not battling Nancy, you are.
Lets see your statement of the case ?
Its not disputed that a citizen can or cannot arrest a public employee or official.
The court determined you didn't have probable cause to arrest.
The court of appeals will determine that you did not witness a crime being committed .
You had prior knowledge that a crime was as you say, already committed, so you should have called the police the moment you knew that your criminal wasn't going to permit you proper access, which was prior to your stupid attempt to arrest him.
Good luck and I hope they give you some hard labor for your community service.

Believe it or not, Nancy said Capone had a deal with St. Paul and she is correct. Nancy did not say Capone had a deal with her family.
Alphonse Capone had many dealings with St. Paul. St. Paul was the hotbed of criminal activity in the 1920s and 1930s.
Just as a sideline here lots of money exchanged hands in St. Paul. One scam was during the war (WWII) people were given tickets for products like sugar, flower, meat and gas. The mob was involved in the buying and trading of these tickets. I was helping a friend clean out his grandfather's house that is located in the area where the city of St. Paul is targeting the destruction of homes (West 7th). We took out three wood boxes (12 x 16x 10) filled with gold coins. These coins had dates in the early 1900s and late 1800s. This was mob money for the trade of these tickets during the war. My Aunt was given one of these gold coins and she stills wears it today.
I understand what Nancy is saying. Some are too quick here to assume, but when you assume you make an ASS out of you and ME. Nancy wrote simple English and you read something into it that was not Nancy's intention. Capone had his finger in lots of stuff in St. Paul.

I never said Capone had a hand in the ticket for products racket in St. Paul, or I am unaware of the connection. I simply stated that the mob ran different rackets in St. Paul, one being the product ticket racket.

Listen, I sign every post I put up and usually say what I have to say. Someone calls me an asshole for calling Bill Dahn an idiot. He is. I think its hilarious that the only two people on here that tried to help Bill at different times are Chuck and myself.
Its been about seven years, maybe six when he came into my office looking help. To not rehash this story over again in detail (go look in the archives), I called and spoke and inn some cases visited and begged to get Bill medical help, legal help and a place to stay. Bill was not stable enough to follow through on anything and was focused on getting Jesse Ventura back. Bill thinks that Jesse won because of him.
Bill cursed and threatened every single person an agency that tried to help him. I'd call back and get him back in, then he'd blow it up until he and I were exhausted of credibility.
Oh my job back then was with the state DFL party directing a division focused on elections. Not social work. But, I took the time to try and help, because he asked. I'm sure the Republicans would have done much more, right? They're known for taking people in off the streets.

The agreement in St Paul was no illegal activity while they layed low here. That too would blunt your argument. The railroads were ran by a commission not the city and all distributors used it (underground of course).

Bob maybe you should make some rules and make every one stick to it. I see why people are tired of Nancy. You shouldn't let her say the rotten things she does to people.
