It's Easter morning! I have a brief moment here this morning in which I have the house to myself.

Soon, my home will be filled beyond capacity with friends, family and some people I don't know who will become friends for the Easter feast.

My childhood memories have over whelmed me today. I was probably all of 3' tall and my parents would dress me up in a 3 pc. suit and a Fedora hat for the Easter Sunday church services. Out the door we would go to Tabor Lutheran Church on hwy 35 south of Bay City Wisconsin at the top of the big hill. My Dad and Mom are resting there now in the cemetery of the church yard.

After church services we would go to Bay City and search for Easter eggs at the ball park. It seemed as if everyone from town and the surrounding area was there. Everybody knew each other. It was great fun for us kids. My memories are so vivid it seems as if it was yesterday. How time flies.

Love your family and friends because you won't have them forever here on earth. And should we part ways, may we all meet again in Heaven..

Happy Easter!

Bob; It sounds as though your Easter childhood memories are great ones. That is always good to hear my heart goes out to the less fortunate children on this special day.

Last night playing Easter bunny makes Easter morning special as I watched my son run around the house house to find eggs and his basket of goodies, although the cats had their own little easter party batting the plastic eggs around and relocating them while we slept.

My son recieved a nerf rocket in his basket, a few minutes ago he comes in with a sad look on his face and only the rocket launcher, when I asked where the rest of it was he replied that an Eagle had came and took it, when actually it was in the roof gutter, I had to laugh at his response. His imagination is good when it comes to blaming incidents on others, usually the cats get blamed for his issues.

Time to get back to cooking, I also have family aand friends arriving this afternoon.

Have a great Easter!
