Three Kids Kicked Off A St. Paul Minnesota School Bus For Speaking English
ST. PAUL, MINNSOTA – Imagine sending your kids off to school, but when they get to the bus they are told they can’t get on because they speak English.

That’s right, English.

It happened to a few children in St. Paul and now the school district is apologizing.

Rachel Armstrong sent her kids to pick up the bus as usual Monday, but after the driver let the kids on, he told them he would not pick them up again. He even said he wouldn’t take them home that afternoon.

Armstrong left work early Tuesday, forced to pick up her kids from Phalen Lake Elementary School.

Her twin girls, 10, and her son, 8, were kicked off their regular school bus. They were told by the bus driver the route is for non-English speaking students only.

“I was furious. I was at work and I was just mad.” Armstrong said. “I felt like we were being discriminated because we speak English. Just because they speak English, they can’t ride the school bus. I mean, this is America, right?”

Administrators at St. Paul Public Schools admit the district made a mistake when it stranded the kids at school Monday.

However, the district points out, that particular bus route serves one of three language academies. The one at Phalen Lake is for Hmong students learning English.

The academies all have separate bus routes to keep its students together.

The district decided to enforce the separate routes beginning Monday, but it did not tell the Armstrong family.

“It is our responsibility to ensure the safety of these kids and we made a mistake. The kids should have gotten home that day,” Dayna Kennedy, public relations representative.

The district also discovered the Armstrongs no longer live in the Phalen Lake School boundary because they moved last year.

So even thought the district apologized, if they want to still go to Phalen, they are going to have to get their own ride.

Is this another incident or is this the same one that happened a few weeks back? I would think this is a bit of discrimination against the American citizen, I also think it happens in other incidents more than we realize. Many times I feel other ethnics have more oppertunity and rights than the American citizen.

For you unibrows on here, read the story.

The bus was an ELL bus that goes a different route. The story says the kids got on the wrong bus.

The kids got on the wrong bus and instead of explaining what kind of bus and where its going, the person who is no doubt cut from the cloth of you folks on here, said that this bus is for non-English speakers. The driver drove them to school and told them that the bus wouldn't pick them up afterwards because its on a DIFFERENT ROUTE!

Maybe if this youth could understand English a little better, and seeked our American culture he could have read the bible to see that his so-called works will not give him salvation: What a shame and sham!

The 18-year-old gunman who killed five people in a crowded Utah shopping mall was a Bosnian Muslim refugee who was prepared to kill many more, say investigators.

An off-duty police officer having an early Valentine's Day dinner with his wife was credited today with cornering Sulejmen Talovic, exchanging fire with him until other officers arrived to shoot and kill the gunman.

The trench-coated teenager wanted to "to kill a large number of people" and probably would have killed many more if not for the off-duty officer, Police Chief Chris Burbank said.

A friend said Talovic was from the war-torn country of Bosnia and that the trauma he experienced while growing up may have led to him snapping for some reason.

Ken Hammond, an off-duty officer from Ogden, north of Salt Lake City, jumped up from his seat at a restaurant after hearing gunfire and cornered the gunman, exchanging fire with him until other officers arrived, Burbank said.

"There is no question that his quick actions saved the lives of numerous other people," the police chief said.

Police said it was not immediately clear who fired the shot that killed Talovic.

Talovic had a backpack full of ammunition, a shotgun and a .38-caliber pistol, police said. Investigators knew little about Talovic, except than he lived in Salt Lake City with his mother, the chief said. He was enrolled in numerous city schools before withdrawing in 2004, the school district said. Initially, police refused to release his name or any information about his background.

Talovic drove to the Trolley Square shopping center – a century-old former trolley barn with winding hallways, brick floors and wrought-iron balconies, and immediately killed two people, followed by a third victim as he came through a door, Burbank said. Five other people were then shot in a gift shop, he said.

Four people who were wounded remained hospitalized today, two in critical condition, two in serious.

Outside the mall, candles and flowers were left as memorials to the victims.

Hammond's boss, Ogden Police Chief Jon Greiner, said the state Senate wants to honor him.

"Thank goodness he was there," said Greiner, who is also a state senator. "You don't want to ever say it's good we were there and killed somebody, but it's probably good someone was there."

Accountant Jeff Barlow was on a date at a restaurant when he looked outside and saw the gunman firing from the hip.

"I thought it was some kind of joke – some kind of movie or stunt," Barlow said. "I didn't believe it was happening. And then I saw a man go down in a courtyard. I realized this was serious. These are real bullets flying around."

David Dean, who owns a greeting-card store at the mall, said three or four people died inside his store, which was packed with Valentine's Day shoppers.

So, Mr Tweezers, we may have some problems in America, but we are not the problem. The terrorist who come to our country because they think we are evil is under the control of the great imposter. You're rebellion really puts into motion how gullible your thinking really is: Here, you group a many people into one, and with adjoining eye brows, inasmuch as that may be some code for a panicked out of control crowd hell bent on destruction, I think it just shows your arrogant, self-seeking interest to once again dissect and expose to the world our anomosity and unfounded fear of that which we do not know. Wrong once again, you see some of us will not forget 9/11 and who it was that shut down our country in the name of evil and hate. So you may think that this is about paranoid and hate, but wrong again tweezers, it's about truth and sorrow for our everso dying and changing country. I don't want our country changed in a way that will bring in the beliefs of those committing suicide for a god that I for one certainly do not recognize. Behead me if you will, make me the butt of your intellectual ridicule if you must, but don't ever tell me how to think and react to situations that I know are leading us, this country, to the point of no return!

How's bout we talk about the liberals that come here and try to take over with their boorish behavior. Let me get very fresh and say that it's the liberals who will down English and America. Let's hope that our armed forces do stay in the middle east when all hell breaks through and war errupts throughout the four corners of the earth!

Your hate will begin to multipy from all you try to justify, but look within yourself to see the false wealth that is indwelt to your soul, is that your goal, your soul is black as coal, who owns your bidding? Is it your master, is he calling with his filth a pourin from his mouth, you can never understand what this author is saying, praying and ever, ever relaying. Do you understand, the fame for which you claim will come to an end then who will you blame alas it could never be tamed, ye who is delusional can still be made restitutional it only takes humility overcoming the brutility. It can be done I reckon and declare for those who see the light, things will look bright and will be made to see the dark whereas which they once took harbor. My heart sorrows if you cannot understand all of which I have just said, it is done with kindness and stability.

February 14 - All the Lack of Truth Not Fit to Print
Why is this story buried? I'll answer that in a minute. The media is majoring in minors right now but that does not excuse them for underreporting and not reporting accurately about the shopping mall potential massacre this week. Several lost their lives and many more could have without the intervention of an off-duty policeman. Did you know that those gunned down were done so by an 18-year-old Muslim who was "perhaps traumatized from his experiences in Bosnia"?
Why should this media suppression surprise us? World Net Daily reports than Homeland Security employees continue to complain that their boss, Michael Chertoff, is hamstringing counter-terror operations with pro-Islamic political correctness. It's the same old mantra employees are supposed to quote: "Don't describe Islamic terrorism and do respect Islam as a 'religion of peace.' " Somehow I thought that sentiment had been appropriately dismissed but that is not the case.

An unnamed employee stated, "It's constantly drilled into us that Islam is not the enemy, and that the terrorists are merely a minority of 'extremists' distorting Islam."

According to papers obtained by World Net Daily, a caution was sent to Homeland Security employees right after two dozen terrorists plotted to blow up 10 airliners over the Atlantic. In it he informs his staff to use the word "extremists," not terrorists. The media cooperates by substituting similar words such as "militants," "insurgents," "fighters," "freedom fighters," and pretty much ignoring the foul nine-letter word "terrorist." "Resistance groups" is the term often substituted for terror groups. But they are "resisting" normal civilization!

Israel, America, and other parts of the West try to make peace gestures to some who are barbarian in nature. We try to engage them in "dialogue" in the hope that we will foster mutual respect and understanding, and eventually trust and even friendship. Such delusion!

Chertoff has seen to it that a Council of American Islamic Relations (CAIR) official got a VIP tour of the department's anti-terror screening operations at Chicago's O'Hare International Airport. An outraged American Airlines official said, "CAIR had a special inside tour of airport security."

During the recent Hajj pilgrimage, Homeland Security ordered custom officials to respect the rituals of Muslim travelers returning from Mecca, including public praying in the airport. Could a Christian get this kind of special treatment? How about a Jew? Could Buddhists erect a statue of Buddha in every airport and slow pedestrian traffic as they lit incense and prayed before the statue? It just wouldn't happen. The special treatment is only for Muslims.

So it should be no surprise that the story of a young Muslim creating carnage in Utah this week did not get all the details reported.

Ancient Israel had her golden calves. The Western world has theirs, and one of them is called "political correctness." God judged Israel for her foolishness. How long will God keep His Hand of protection on America when we act with denial, carelessness, poor judgment, and no common sense, most coming under the banner of political correctness? Sure, He can keep us safe for all the good we do for the world and has since 9/11. But there is evil among us, in America, Israel, Europe, and more, and we cannot make nice to them, light candles, and sing "Give Peace a Chance." These characters aren't looking for peace; they're looking to take over the world and by the sword if necessary.

I don't see anything out of date here but the posters who don't see the relevance to these stories. America is changing and you can see the signs everywhere. I think it's pretty outdated for one to take these current events and bend them back to 1952. Wake up, it smacks you right in the face.
