SHHHH! While we listen to words of wisdom from a wise man.
Conscience is the light of the Soul that burns within the chambers of our psychological heart. It is as real as life is. It raises the voice in protest whenever anything is thought of or done contrary to the righteousness. Conscience is a form of truth that has been transferred through our genetic stock in the form of the knowledge of our own acts and feelings as right or wrong. A virtuous and courageous person can alone use the instrument of conscience. He or she can alone hear the inner voice of the soul clearly. In a wicked person this faculty is absent. The sensitive nature of his / her conscience has been destroyed by sin or corruption. Hence he or she is unable to discriminate right from wrong. Those who are leading organizations, business enterprises, institutions and governments should develop this virtue of the ability to use their own conscience. This wisdom of using the clean conscience will enable them to enjoy the freedom.

Nice house. cheap eletric and clean house. I wish I could live
like that too. no bills.
Nice place to live in mpls.
better than St.Paul.
This is what code enforcement ws intended for, not the current version of inspectors coming out and lying about violations and city goverments destroying evidence to cover it up.
I came in during the middle of it while my wife was watching it. When I saw the condition of the place I wondered if it was the Repke estate. Probably more likely a PHA palce.
Regardless of the state this family was living in wouldn't it make more sense to help this family such as financial help to fix up the place if she was the owner rather then tearing the home down which is going to most likely be the end results, treatment whether it be for mental health or drug addiction possibly both many times they go hand in hand, maybe some clases on being a parent and how to take care of a home? What tends to happen instead people just move on to the next place and continue to live the same lifestyle. No ONE should live like that but what events lead up to a person living in them conditions needs to be examined and looked at so it can be prevented in the future.
Right on 4:48. Code enforcement used to be about health and safety. Clearly this house has significant safety issues (stolen electric...). I understand shutting it down.
But code enforcement has become the social elites way to regulate who lives next to them and for the elected officials to move disruptive occupants to a new location.
It is twisted.
Bill Cullen.
Why wasn't this tenant arrested for stealing electricity? How about endangerment? She says she didn't know (how could she not know?) and the piece of shit cop goes right along with her. The same cop WOULD NOT give her the same beniet of the doubt in a traffic stop, nor would he give a landlord the same if the landlord said he "didn't know."
Hey,
Its look like St.Paul Landlord
did the hook up for the tenant.
And get rent from her. Maybe $850.00 A month
The video is definitely shows an unsafe situation.
But in general, there are infinite interpretations of codes possible, and immunity for code inspectors. I was wondering if current code enforcement in St. Paul amounts to mob rule.
I think that property is owned by the city of St. Paul.
Problem properties?
Yeah, looks like Opus has decided it doesn't want to end up holding a problem property that it cannot develop.
One cannot help but wonder how much af an effect the "Bucky-zation" of the Bridges of St. Paul had on Opus' decision to pull the plug.
One more huge opportunity lost.
As I've said, as long as it remains in the clammy hands of the incompetant, socialist bufoons that are in office right now, nothing good will come St. Paul's way...nothing.
