Happy Thanksgiving! Giving thanks...

And yet another year is passing and corporate America is promoting Christmas before we have had our turkey dinners. I don't know about you folk's but all this competition for our money is putting a bad taste in my mouth, taste sort of like an old fruit cake that has been passed along as a gift from year to year.

Check out this link to myths and facts of Thanksgiving. Many of you maybe surprised to learn Minnesota is the leading producer of turkeys with or without feathers. :)

Happy Thanksgiving ALL!

I wish the entire city council and mayor of Saint Paul a Happy Thanksgiving. We all have a lot to be thankful for.

I wish a Happy Thanksgiving to all the plaintiffs of the federal fair housing lawsuits and their families. May God Bless all of you.

I wish a Happy Thanksgiving for all of you who have the courage to speak your mind here at the town hall. I wish a Happy Thanksgiving to all the readers. Read or blog all of you are special people for taking an interest in the important issues we speak of here.

I give Thanks to the Lord for my health and security and the health and security of my family and friends.

Hmmmm....

Let's see a group of people chased out of England that run off to Holland and then take a ship bound for Virginia that ends up in Mass. and don't have any permits to set up a colony there....

Sounds like illegal immigrants to me...

Chuck
That was then and this is NOW...!
We see how the Democrats are breaking the Government and NO ONE CARES?
Mark Dayton sold Minnesota OUT when he vetoed the I D to vote law, so he is just another YES MAN put in to try his best as a recovering alcoholic.
At least Jesse Ventura was just a plain ass hole.
If Dayton pushes Union Day Care and make it a law, then we all see that Dayton has been a Men's Room provider.
Sucking up to Unions to get backing or is he BRIBE by this union mafia?
Democrats are HITLER type and not commoners like they claim.
The JEWS are putting their people with strokes in the Sholom Nursing Home by West 7 th Street and Otto Street that was deemed polluted and should never been built on the site , but St.Paul's gestapo needs to put some union people to work.

The United States never needed a permit either when they stole from Mexico half of what we call the Southwest United States. The United States didn't need a permit when they went into Iraq and overthrew the Government to put in a democratic one under the guise of weapons of mass destruction.

The United States didn't need a permit when they assisted the Jews in taking lands from the palistinians .

The United States didn't need a permit when they overthrew Libya to instill yet another democratic system using NATO forces and circumvented congressional approval to bring that nation down.

How about when the United States overthrew the Queen to take Hawaii ? No permit needed there either Chuck.

Guess we learned alot from your British friends Chuck.

Just ask the indians who's land we stole and treaties we broke. And you can sit there and claim thanksgiving as a day to be thankful ?? I wonder how
the " Native " American Indians are celebrating today.

I say lets be thankful for what truly belongs to us. Our family and friends.

You know Bill you didn't have to change what party you filed under. You could have stayed an "Independent" candidate and run against Jesse, Roger and Norm. Who knows you probably would have won.

Yes, Bob does some amazing things.

Bob G,

I agree 100%, Bob is a true public servant. I once wrote to Bob asking for advice and help and he showed up at my hearing with the city. WOW!!!

Many here only know small pieces of Bob's good work.

Bob is working on the "DASH" The dash is the small line between your birth and your death. Bob's good deeds are to numerous to count and his heart is in the right place. Now if we could have seven people like him on the city council we would really be cooking.

Bob THANK YOU for the work you do!

-----------------------------------
I lost my job and when I thought things couldn't get any worse the city wrote up my home and garage for repairs and paint. I searched the internet for help I found this blog I contacted Bob he gave me advice he attended a administrative hearing with me too.
I got my deadline for repairs extended. The following day Bob came to my house with volunteers they painted my house repaired the siding on my garage and fixed my toilet. I didn't pay for any of the work or materials!

Praise the Lord for his earthly bound angels!

What is the purpose of life? Ultimately, the little line that is often found at tombstones connecting the dates of birth and death represents all the days one would have lived on earth and this is what we call life.

I thank all of you for your kind words! However, I am only one of a number of people in my circle who offer a ear or a hand when it is needed.

The Dash.. thanks for posting that information.

In the past I have shared my belief with friends and family that true wealth is spiritual wealth. All the money in the world will not buy you a ticket to heaven. The best advice anyone can give another is "follow your conscience".
