After blowing up the photos to where there is still some "focus" left to them, it appears to be people that work for the City Council. Is that Marcia Moermund in the back seat? She's the city's Legislative Hearing Officer isn't she?

The city screws people to death with their code enforcement and then sends out the peons to hide behind the protection of the police so they cxan report back what is going on. They are all a bunch of dsihonest cowards.

Bill was talking about Buce Vento, and how the common honest people are gone.
Here in St.Paul we have the most dishonest politicians, why do people keep electing them.
It must be the money they have to spend on their champagnes.
Nancy lost her home, but it sure made her speak out so it don't happen to others.
How many people were at the 14 E. Jessamine protest that day.
Stay strong Nancy and all the others, keep up the fight.

Most of the people that attended recognized the people in the back of the squad cars, in fact it wasn someone I had never meet priviously that pointed them out to me that day and said; "Those are city council employees.....I think the one in the back seat is Marcia Moermund the Legislative Hearing officer." Funny isn't it that they were there and protected by the Police but wouldn't stop in for a look to see what people were so upset so about.......especially since they had the Police drive them all the way out there form downtown!

That is how the city thinks spending your tax money is proper, wouldn't you think it would of made more sense for them to get out of the car and take a look at the home for themselves, then speak with the media (there was plenty avaiable) to report their findings and state how they felt this home was so hazardous? You know why they didn't... the home was in very good condition and they wouldn't be able to lie with a TV camera on them and the house at the same time! I feel this was a waste of money and a very cowardly act the ought to be ashamed of hiding inthe back seat of a sqaud car. My dream is to see them in the back seat handcuffed being taken to SPPD officially...Or in the very least I feel the city should be held accoutable for the actions of their employees, like Mr.Magner trying to force me to sell to an associate of his for $40,000 when the value of the home even with the code compliance hanging over it was well over that.

Then we have the false information that the city reported to the Pioneer press and the courts about the hydralic jack, when in fact it was the proper type of jack used for homes a screw jack which was in that exact same position the day my mother bought the home 37 years earlier! If this is what people want running a city for them then sit back, do nothing, and wait your turn cause sooner or later either yourself or someone you know will get the pleasure of dealing with them...

You guys fly off the handle so quick. What if they were taking a drive in advance of making a "low ball" offer to Nancy so she could have gotten some money out the place?

The reason they won't do anything about your allegations Nancy is because they proably suspect it is true. If they do anything at this point they just help prove up the allegations that the landlords are making in the lawsuits, so they just look the other way and hope for the best.

MAGNER SIGHTING!

Yep folks he was seen today and he wasn't in the back of a squad car under arrest or for protection.

He was walking in public across the street from the court house.

For this brief moment the residential housing stock was safe from attack.

Not to safe they bulldozed the duplex at 1102 Sylvan street today! That is the corner house to 14 E Jessamine guess the city has a plan for one of their developer buddies on that corner.

2 down - 3 to go and the city has a nice little plot carved out for one of their developer buddies.

The house betweem the fresh demo of today and Nancy's "used to be" house on Jessamine, and 2 others that are right in line with the "fresh demo" are all signed up on Magners "vacant list" and ready to go.

Any bets on how long it will take to drop them too?

Is it the Vacant Building List or Magner's Shopping List?

Maybe they could put in some nice housing from Chuck's group. He really does nice work. Chuck and the City Council should be commended for getting rid of shitty landlords and putting conscientious non-profit organizations in charge that actually help their tenants.

u;You all are crazy.

No criminals there.

Just curious people looking to get a lookee loo at the people protesting at Jessamine.

Get real.

If this was a criminal, she wouldn't be looking out and her hands would be cuffed behind her back.

Think about it.

Anyone of you yahoos ever seen Ms. Moermund?

Cripes.

Be careful before you jump out of the frying pan and into the fire!

12:30, what has been done to the plaintiffs and many of their previous tenants through condemnations was a living HELL!

HELL, continues for many of these people in the form of financial problems, marital problems. This contributes to emotional instability in the children of all these families.

This Town Hall Meeting is HELL for some, and a blessing to many.

it's looking like Dale St.
by Thomas is becoming another housing project.
They are tearing down the one family homes, so they can start more bad areas that crime will start to brew out of.
