Back in the days of the liberalism in the 1950's and 1960's the Welfare departments of the country use to get enough money to assign "Case Workers." And case workers actually went out into the neighborhood and checked up on people on welfare to see how they were doing.
This guy's case worker would have seen that he was fucking the system and cut him off.
But, we don't have case workers anymore because since the 1970's we have been getting "tough" on welfare and we got rid of all of those welfare case workers that went out into the field and worked with clients.
So, when are you right wingers going to admit that your policies have failed and that we should actually go back to liberalism?

Our hometown Mr.Duane here is obviousley a prime example of those who are scamming the system.
Even the woman in this video was scamming the court trying to get a judgment against another scammer. This woman wasn't even paying rent she was supposed to be paying.
But the point Chuck is that ever since the Johnson administration created welfare as we know it in 1964, unquestionably a Democratic
policy, the democrats have been pampering to the whims of the lazy welfare queens ( as Ronald Reagan described them )and kings without any oversight or sence of urgency that it's overburdening our Federal and States budgets.
We have more illegals on the dole than legitimate citizens with legitimate crisis.
These welfare programs are an evolutionary product of the democrats, who have failed year after year to implement oversight and create more stringent rules for applicants and illegals who come here to take advantage of the democrats safe haven protections .
Politicians in St.Paul that depend the latino and illegal vote to get elected.
But I have to say that blacks in general are the masters at welfare abuses. The origins of which evolves out of the sixties at the height of the civil rights movement that gave to that generation of blacks a sence of entitlement that has been passed on. This video is a perfect example that it exists in the present day.

I have deleted anonymous post that were inflammatory or libelous. I have deleted personal attacks when asked to. Folk's here like Eric who's identity is known can post just about anything because we know who they are, they "own" their words. I have allowed anonymous post exposing corruption when I had sufficient evidence to believe the accusations were true.

My first thought of this video. It is another example of racist whites using the video of this kid to oppress the larger majority of working class black's.
Secondly, I see this video furthering the impression among tax payers that their tax dollars are wasted on human services.
For you folk's information, in Ramsey County this aide program is widely known by the poor as a cash cow for the needy. The needy spans "all" races. Cash to those who really need it is drying up. It isn't easy to get a job.
For years now politicians have played on voter ignorance to get elected to office by attacking human service programs when in fact only 2% of the entire budget is spent on Human Services.
I won't get into a debate over race with you Calvin, I don't have the desire or time to rehash old debates that go no place.

I am not focused on the budget per se, just on this issue of illegal alien spending and the topic of how a sence of entitlement by blacks ( not all of them ) is alive and well today. Sure, there are Whites, Mexicans, Indians, and people from all races scamming the system but it's roots unquestionably started with blacks in the 60s when welfare was back in 1964. This is what I'am saying.
Blacks have always had a disadvantage when it comes to employment and education, therefore it is logical to conclude that their race will always be more prone to becoming welfare dependant and even though current statistics my show more whites currently on welfare than blacks, that is explained by the mere fact that blacks are less employable or employed
The present economic downturn has put whites out of work and into the welfare lines with blacks etc.
When the economy turns around, whites will be off welfare faster than blacks .

84 billion? The Federal Budget is about 3.5 trillion. Like Bob said, that's about 2%. According to the CBO, the only official statistics, 20% is spent on Social Security, 23% is spent on Medicare and Medicaid and 20% on Defense. Perspective.

The word is 'sense'. Is English your first language? Illegal immigrants are not collecting welfare. If you are aware of this, tell us all and then call ICE. Current stats show that about one third of welfare recipients are black. That's an all time high. It's also an all time high for every group that's on welfare currently. You mention some statistics- where are they? The vast majority of all races on welfare are off within a few years. There is a small single digit percentage that remain dependent for life.

Our federal Government is as interested in these kinds of questions as are the tax payors supporting those on welfare and social security, just trying to find out how to solve the problems associated fraud and wasteful spending. To preserve the true intent of social security as a supplement to retirement and health care, we need to stop borrowing from this program to pay war debts.
The Federal budget surplus of 2000 quickly evaporated when Bush took office. Bush borrowed heavily from the Social security trust fund to pay for the wars and his tax cuts.

Welfare is just a portion of the Health and Human Services budget so your right, but we can focus specifically on that portion of it and single out those who would scam it . One way to drag the truth out, is to stay on top of people and what they say. As they are confronted with the misinformation they try to push, you'll see them either changing the subject, or accidentally revealing their true point. Calvin's true point is one of white supremacy. His real issue is not the budget or even welfare abusers, it's blacks. This will probably take three posts, and since reading comprehension is not the strong point of most of you- I'll try to keep it brief.

Since most are lower middle class and below, the easy answer is the lack of college degrees and specialized training. The next answer would be location. Lots of service jobs in the strip malls and new suburban developments but, very few in the core areas where they live. And finally, in the 70's the community colleges used to be not just for education but a place where you could learn a trade for very little money. That's not the case today with all of the cuts and again, the kind of programs that would support that are the first to go. Black are where white were in the 50's and 60's. You could get job at a factory like Whirlpool or 3M back then at 16 and by 25 you could raise a family and own a home on that income. Those jobs are constantly leaving the country for good.
As far as intelligence goes, studies show that there is no difference between young black children and young white children, the biggest factor that determine IQ comes in the schooling and follow-up. Since localizing the funding of public schools, the tax base of community decides the budgets for the schools. That's why affluent towns have great school systems. The kids who need the most help, come from poorer communities which mean a dip in the qualitative educational components. And we are speaking in broad strokes here. I'm from the South side of Chicago where most people in our neighborhood were home owners and going to college was normal. We were not one of the rich areas, just middle and working class people. I'm smarter than you Calvin, not on welfare, and not unemployed.
As far as the welfare thing, you already stated that more whites are on welfare so, re-adjust your hood and sheet and look at what you wrote.

I will. The roots of illegitimacy goes back to slavery when men and women were separated and sold off to prevent strong family units. Reconstruction and the Great Migration brought on long separations due to men having to go several states over for work. Or say the wrong thing to a white person and you have to say goodbye to your family and take off. Or stay and be murdered. After WWII some that started to changed.

Again, I can deny it. What proof do you have that one race is more abusive to the system than another? The fact that there are more whites on welfare will support stats that more white commit welfare fraud.
Poverty Pimps are still alive, they have morphed into the Republican Party. Keep cutting social program funding so that you can't hire case workers to stay on top of these people seeking out fraud. Keep cutting school budgets so that the poor loose out on the best way to end the cycle of poverty. Keep supporting big business and big banks so more good working class jobs can be sent overseas and faulty investments can be backed up by American tax dollars. Deportations reach a record high! And this was almost a year ago. The new numbers for this year, expected to be even higher, will be out in the next two months.

Do you know what 'to the contrary' means? Give one example of any Democrat anywhere promising continued welfare. It was a Democrat that ended lifetime welfare benefits and ended the AFDC program. Why can't you say they are facts? They are not suggestions on the internet. Those numbers are not insignificant. Do you have any facts to back up your claim on the increase number of illegals and what would be an acceptable ratio of deportation? You've been wrong every step of the way so far.

Tell you what. Illegal immigration has been a problem for longer than the 30 months Obama has been in office. He came in and more than doubled the budget, tripled the border agents, utilized military grade tools like drones and helped the Mexican military with training and weapons. All of that is more than what was done the previous eight years under Bush when people like you were OK with it. If you call all of that grandstanding well, you have no idea about the issue or what you really want.

What fool in Congress would come right out and promise an illegal anything ? We know you Democrats are for amnesty and opposition to immigration reform.
No politician would come right out and say they agreed to continue any kind of welfare to any illegal, but when they vote on the Health and Human Services bill, the Democrats especially know that illegals are benefitting.
Of course I know AFDC ended and it's now called TANF.
The same types of people abusing AFDC continue to abuse TANF.
Even the Government has no specific verifiable number of illegals either in this country .
One thing is sure is that of the numbers we are deporting such as 387,790 in 2010, compared to over 500 K illegals who come in per year, does seem to suggest that signifigant gains are being made but the end result if these trends stay the same, we have a net gain of 112,210 illegals every year plus the 500K plus coming in as we speak, so it's a losing battle .
Not to mention the estimated 12-14million already here .

Illegals are voting because the Department of Justice is prosecuting them.

Well, which is it? We've already corrected you that only 2.3% of the economy is welfare. The vast majority of Health and Human Services is ate up by Social Security and Medicare. That would be seniors who votes more consistently than any other group. So, a promise to protect Social Security and Medicare can be seen as a promise for votes. Except its logical and lots of evidence that shows its seniors not illegals.
TANF has a five year limit on it too that is strongly enforced. Its why they changed to this system from AFDC.
Even Labor Unions provide information that undocumented workers are not able to get welfare benefits.
Any illegal getting any welfare is because of false documents, which is an easily solvable problem if the Republicans would stop cutting the budgets.
You didn't leave a link or anything for your jury duty thoughts. Where I used to live, there were a lot of Indians and Pakistanis who were here on work visas working in the technology sector and Silicon Valley. Several are given calls to show up for jury duty. Same thing in this area for Canadians on student visas. You must not have ever served on jury duty to not know the second question they ask you.

99% of Americans with even half a brain can tell you that they know Democrats and Republicans in Congress are responcible for welfare appropriations.
They can also tell you that they know politicians are well aware illegals are on the dole same as they are aware that illegals are working in this country illegally.
