Hi All,
There has been a strange set of circumstances lately that have lead me and others to believe code enforcement is targeting folks who are witnesses in law suits against the city over housing.
I have heard other disturbing allegations that citizens who have used their identity here and spoken out against code enforcement may also have become targeted by code enforcement.
I hope ALL you code enforcement officers and fire inspectors homes are up to code, because ALL of you whether you are party to this BULLSHIT or not may have pictures of your homes code deficiencies published right here.
For every citizen related to this issue who tells me they think they are being harassed by housing inspectors I will post one city employees issues with housing.
So get out your hammers, nails, building materials, and paint supplies because I am doing inspections of my own!
I may extend this to district council presidents. I hear some of your homes look like shit too.

Bob you are the greatest!! It is great to see someone care so much about others and have nothing to gain from it financially but yet is there for us... This isn't the first time city leaders came after witnesses criminally. They did it after the Federal Lawusits were filed......went after several people with bogus charges who were witnesses for the people bringing the lawsuits.
Chuck, I do not believe anyone from this list will cause any further trouble for you.
1. I have asked the property rights advocates to leave you alone. I hope they have enough respect for me to fulfill this request. It has been sometime since you had a housing issue.
2. Another reason folks may not have a desire to cause trouble for you, you have become well liked here even though nobody agrees with most of what you say.
Now, if you "change horses in the middle of the stream" and start siding with us on housing issues, well then you may get a visit from code enforcement compliments of someone in the city. If this extremely remote possibility ever happens then I am still here for you in your defense. :-)

What is going on? What are the inspectors doing?

What's going on Bill is that Federal Defendants in the Racketeering Lawsuits swooped down on someone well known to us all and issued condemnation orders. Looks like he asked the wrong questions. Yo're next Cullen. Make sure you got all your codes, these inspectors are hungry. Code enforcement is running a "scortched earth" operation till the winter comes.
Bill there is a "history" of retaliatory behavior that is a little tough to prove, some obvious and some actions that just leave us to ponder.
Going back 3 years when the property rights advocates organized a protest on housing issues at the federal court house there was a city employee taking pictures of the protesters. That very same day some of these protesters discovered code enforcement had been out to a number of their properties and they were written up.
We have heard from Nancy O. and her claims of retalitory behavior.
Then of coarse there is the FALSE criminal charges brought against some of the defendants in these law suits right after the federal suit was filed.ALL dismissed.
Since these incidents I know of at least one witness in the RICO suits who has had "out of the blue inspections" on his property shortly after his name appears in new documents filed with the courts.This person is a good friend of mine.
Currently, I know of 2 outspoken property rights advocates being challenged by code enforcement.
One of these individuals admittedly has some issues and he and a multitude of volunteers including myself, are assisting this person in meeting the recommendations of code enforcement. I am concerned for him because of all the stories we have heard of folks losing their homes over these issues. I want him to be treated fairly.
I am working with bob with this person.
There is no fairness in St. Paul. The only fairness you'll ever get here is what you can afford to buy at the Federal Courthouse

The mayors and city councils memebers homes have been looked at with great care. They all up to snuff!
BULLSHIT..........ricomen have photos of all their houses, rental units, and businesses and they've all got code violations. ALL OF THEM!
I attended an administrative appeal and a housing code compliance inspection today on behalf of an outspoken property rights advocate who has some issues with code.
I want to thank Dave Thune, Kathy Lantry, Paula Seely and Marsha Moermund for treating this person I am working with fairly.
I also want to thank our Les Lucht for volunteering his time to help with this issue. Les is a good man.
We still have work ahead of us to help keep our property rights advocate from losing his home, although now there is hope where there once seemed to be a hopeless situation.
The legislative hearing was a set up. They're going to swoop in when you least expect it and make the owner stop the work so they can grab the property.
