PageRank Explained

PageRank relies on the uniquely democratic nature of the web by using its vast link structure as an indicator of an individual page's value. In essence, Google interprets a link from page A to page B as a vote, by page A, for page B. But, Google looks at considerably more than the sheer volume of votes, or links a page receives; for example, it also analyzes the page that casts the vote. Votes cast by pages that are themselves "important" weigh more heavily and help to make other pages "important." Using these and other factors, Google provides its views on pages' relative importance.

Of course, important pages mean nothing to you if they don't match your query. So, Google combines PageRank with sophisticated text-matching techniques to find pages that are both important and relevant to your search. Google goes far beyond the number of times a term appears on a page and examines dozens of aspects of the page's content (and the content of the pages linking to it) to determine if it's a good match for your query.

Integrity
Google's complex automated methods make human tampering with our search results extremely difficult. And though we may run relevant ads above and next to our results, Google does not sell placement within the results themselves (i.e., no one can buy a particular or higher placement). A Google search provides an easy and effective way to find high-quality websites that contain information relevant to your search.

Hi All,

If you have Googles page rank look to the top of the screen. "A Democracy's" page rank is almost 100%! Now go look at the Tribs & Pioneer Press page rank. WE ARE SMOKIN THEM!

I even have a bit of a page rank on the front page. Unbelievable since I post all the stories here in the comment section.

There is a lot more to come on the RICO suits. I just feel like sitting on it for a day or 2, maybe 3. :-)

I have been a member of the forum here since the beginning. Sure has been a wild ride!

I hope in the future I will be able to post here using my name without fear of retaliation from the City.

In the meantime I think we should take Bob's advice. BUCKLE UP! The road is filled with potholes and curves and Bob never seems to take his foot off the gas!

I went over to Saint Paul Issues and Forums and checked out their page rank. No comparison to A Democracy.

They were lacking in judgement when they censored you Bob. And also lacking in intigrity.

St Paul issues forum....LOL....I had almost forgotten about them. They did something to their web page and every tiem I tried using my "favorites" to go there I got some wierd "file page" or something and from there I couldn't get anywhere to be able to read their posts.

The way I had to get to them is to go through the link on your site Bob! Anyways I don't even go there any longer. Thee's no one there saying anything that is thought provoking or even entertaining. Just a bunch of stuffy elites!

SPIF is now trying to feel people out over as to whether they would be willing to pay money to participate in their "Indoctrination Pool." What a joke! Lets see how much they raise before they go broke.

"Saint Paul Issues and Forums" page rank is about 33% and as I look to my googles tool bar at the top of the page, I see the page rank here is about 96 to 97%.

This is one of the highest page rankings in the world!
