"Fair and Balanced"
YOU GOOFBALL...
FOR EVERY BAD LANDLORD THERE IS THOUSANDS OF IRRESPONSIBLE TENANTS..
I'm 9:35,
I'll give you that there are more bad tenants than landlord but because of two reasons:
1. Landlords run a business that is regulated in some places.
2. There are more tenants that landlords.
This is the one thing that is NEVER mentioned is the bad tenant equation. St Paul has been hell bent on balming the landlord for everything that goes wrong in the neighborhood, but never say anything about the tenants who destroy the place faster than the landlord can fix it. To say there are more tenants than landlords and then try to make that statistic say something is a crock. Not all landlords will rent to the poor nd the people with spotty to bad records. Not all of those people could afford the rent even if they could rent from the landlords who have property in the better neighborhood. So they rent from the few landlords in the more marginal areas of town. It is with this sector of the tenant population that many of the neighborhood problems come from. It seems that almost everyone knows someone who owns rental property. Call them up right now and ask how many good tenants verses bad tenants they had had over the last 5 years. We all know what the answer will be.
Facts don't support the city's agenda so they leave them out all the time. You didn't know that? How long you lived here?
