Thanks to the city council for having a spit votes 4/3.

We always see our friends on the city council vote 7-0 or 0-7.
But the airport has over grown itself, and we as tax payers are paying for 3M's Jets to come and go.
I feel that 3M and the other with the money to use our city as their pathway to heaven, can pay for things like the flood wall and the sewer system.
For the city to pitch in 1 million dollars to build the flood wall seems like a drain on the city's budget.
that ok, the city can just raise taxes for next year.
Maybe tear down some of the older peoples homes, and replace them with "Row Houses" so the
value goes up.
Who care for the people of our city anyway?
We all should but don't.
we need to be in tune with our people, I didn't say Thune.
Why is there a split vote now, when all this time the council was one sided on the way they dealt wyth the issues.
Could it be, that the election is near?
No, I feel that Bob Johnson's blog could be tightening the screws with the RICO law Suits.
Or are they just having a change of heart?
Talking about any money crossing over to some developments on the flats, where the city perches or condemned homes after the 1965 flood.
The city told the people of the flats and on the levee, that No One would ever live in the areas again.
Because it is a flood plain, but no look at all the condo's and rows of them on the levee side.
The Bridges development plan has it's quarks, high dollar condo's and them the people can just park their planes at the west side airport.
This town is becoming a place for the rich, and the poor and the others that now call St.Paul home will have to move to the suburbs.
Who care about the small people that made St.Paul a great town?
I Bill Dahn cares.
So come September, Vote Bill Dahn for City Council Ward 2

Remember, the one that will speak for you the people.

Hey Bill - Don't forget about Travelers jets. The come and go all day because they are still housed in Hartford. Everytime a Travelers exec wants to fly someplace they have to fly the plane here first. Talk about corporate waste.
