Conscience is the light of the Soul that burns within the chambers of our psychological heart. It is as real as life is. It raises the voice in protest whenever anything is thought of or done contrary to the righteousness. Conscience is a form of truth that has been transferred through our genetic stock in the form of the knowledge of our own acts and feelings as right or wrong. A virtuous and courageous person can alone use the instrument of conscience. He or she can alone hear the inner voice of the soul clearly. In a wicked person this faculty is absent. The sensitive nature of his / her conscience has been destroyed by sin or corruption. Hence he or she is unable to discriminate right from wrong. Those who are leading organizations, business enterprises, institutions and governments should develop this virtue of the ability to use their own conscience. This wisdom of using the clean conscience will enable them to enjoy the freedom.

What's the matter Bill? Cat got your tongue?
1. Do you have a job?
2. Have you kept a job for more than four years in the last 20 years?
3. How will your self-admitted mental problems affect your work and decision making on the council?
4. Do you know how much the city operating budget is?
5. With a 9.9% set cap on taxes, with the current bugdet, what are your funding priorities and what will be cut?
6. Are you able to hold office?
Most of us work jobs for years we hate so that we can provide for our family.
How can you represent us when you've spent most of your time on the government dole?
What do you know about trying to raise a family in this city today?
You really want to run for office, you have to answer those questions. You want to play and get some attention, then keep doing what you're doing.
Bill Dahn can't even participate in a converstaion here with an understanding of what the subject is, how the hell does he think he is going to be able to communicate with people and interact with others in a Council meeting.
Many many times people have asked Bill both politely and not so politely to "stay on subject" here at the blog, and he just flat out refuses to do so. If he can't control himself and honor what people ask here on a voluntary basis, why would anyone in their right mind think he would do it if he were elected?
And then there's the matter of when Bill doesn't get his way he starts making threats against people and name calling.
On the plus side, he would add a lot of humor to the Coucnil meetings!
Maybe funny to somebody watching a council meeting. It would be HELL for the other council members.
He would drive them nuts with the same damn stories that are getting older and older day by day. I think I am getting an anxiety attack thinking about hearing his story one more time.
Here is your chance Bill to answer questions of this person who is concerned about you being elected to the City Council. What are you going to do? Call him names. Ignore him and talk about insulation.
Now that you mention insulation, lets keep it right there. That's where Bill does his best work. Lets hear it Bill.....tell us again!.....we're all ears.
Please Bill don't tell us that story again. I can't take it!

I will ease your conscience people are not being harmed.......
Bill I have the RAP insulation and "I like it". The preservatives in the insulation have leeched into my home's structure and preserved my home. There you should feel better now.
This is why you don't have one single incident of a Saint Paul City resident being harmed. They aren't being harmed Bill, they are happy they have gotten their home preserved.
Ok, I have some questions for Bill;
Question #1
Bill as a city council representative for your district how would you go about handling the continous complaints of several neighbors of a home that has been determined by the city as a problem property with out having the home demolished and yet making the citizens in the general surrounding of the home happy at the same time?
Question #2-#10 will be posted as previous ones are answered.
Bill would send one of them there inspector types guys out to check the insulation of the home.
Now that Bill has chased everyone away with his old story he doesn't seem interested in posting anything here any longer. Come on Bill...tell us the story again...please?
Bill, remember when you came to the West St. Paul City Council meeting to defend Alice Krengel. If memory serves me right, you dropped an "F bomb" on TV. You're all class Bill, so answer the questions.....
How about how --
The city officials care for the developers and big business, yet the average home own has no voice.
They screw the landlords and any home owners, that would speak out on a issue.
But they treat the other ref raft that has money, like these people are the one true god.
I will work for all people if elected, treat them with the respect they deserve.
Not just the few that try to influents me.
The greased palm, that is the way of the council now, will not continue.
"Remember" each person in city, county, state and federal government, --- they all sign a code of conduct --
code of ethics paper to get the job.
This is to say they will do their job with no discrimination and with respect to the laws of our nation.
They have to uphold the constitution, but care for the people as if it was them in need.
I would work closer with the people in the ward, so the lower income people has a voice too.
Thanks to all that pist and moaned, about what I said about my home.
One person contacted me, and we will see how many people out there will have a different opinion on what I was saying all these years.
I'm the commoner , that this city needs.

"Elect" Bill Dahn, for Ward 2
Bill, I asked the questions at the top a few days ago and you've been able to dodge them to the point that even your supporters on here are silenced and stepping back. I've got more:
You say that you will treat everyone the same and not discriminate. Are you aware that in the last month you have publicly posted some vile and bigoted statements about gays? You're already on record as being full of hate.
What about people who are Democrats (75% of the city)? Although, you're dependent on liberal government programs because you don't work and haven't held a job for years.
What about the couple of thousand city employees who have been denegrated to corrupt theives in your own words (though you don't work so, what exactly is being stolen from you?)?
You still have the six questions at the top that haven't ben answered, yet ignored. The way you're dodging them, I'd say that you've learned quite well from the local officials in Saint Paul.
Can you begin giving answers to the questions you were asked?

Everyone that posts here at A Democracy has had that story permnantly forced in to our memory to the point of it causing us to shake and have tremors just at the thought of having to hear that story again. You ask for it I am sure you will get the whooooooooole stoooooooooory!
Bill, you're kind of a phoney- not honest. I see that the vote bill dahn ward 2 poster who talked about you being able to do whatever you set your mind to and you're honest- is really you Bill Dahn.
If you click on the name, it somehow goes to the Bill Dahn webpage- just like your name does. Hmmm.
So you are here and read this thread and decided to not answer the simple questions and dodge the issue.
Bill, here you won't find a friendly crowd for an upsurgent campaign.
However, it appears you are all talk and can't even listen. You can't produce answers to easy questions in five days- how can you debate Thune and answer questions in five seconds? Does your mind work that fast?
Even Bob has backed off of his prediction that you will win. Your performance or lack of over the last few days forced Bob to take a non supportive role (though his site is an enabler- it just backfired on you)
Save it Bob. He doesn't have a job. He's not under pressure to put food on the table, clothes on the backs and keep a roof over the heads of anyone but himself. That is why he has time to 'volunteer'. Most volunteers have real jobs.
What does that say about him, an able bodied man who thinks he fit enough for office but, not it enough to work a job?
He works hard at trying to get in office. He works hard at getting his story out there. According to some, he works hard at helping the poor yet, he doesn't work. He gets a check from the government like he can't work or something.
If its true that he can't work and his mind is disabled, then why are putting this sick man up to manage a 500 million dollar budget as well as the safty and well-being of the citizens (and our children) in Saint Paul. That's not logical, smart or even advantageous for anyone.
Bill Dahn needs help.

What's the difference between him and Helgen? I mean if Bill can't think for himself and gets to dodge answers and wait for you to rescue him it sounds like Kathy Lantry and Lee Helgen to me.

The public has produced a few questions here for him to answer, has he decided that running against Thune would be to much? Or are the questions to difficult?

My disability is, Epilepsy = seizers caused by chemical fumes.
it give's me an insight to the problems of other handicap people.
