On A Truth Seeking Mission A Democracy
The Black Background Represents The Dark Subjects We Debate - The White Print Represents The Pure And Simple Truth
*****YA ALL COME BACK NOW YA HEAR*****

Open statement to Steven Clift, Tim Erickson, Bob Spaulding, and like minded folk,
E Democracy tries very hard to create an environment where elected officials feel "comfortable" engaging citizens. Softball subjects.
A Democracy tries hard to engage "citizens" in confronting the issues that most concern us.Hardball subjects.
I will swap all of your discarded labeled ill mannered bloggers for any city officials who post at my blog. Even trade!
Your passion and concern to make E Democracy a soft bed for elected officials is contrary to productive governing.
Tim you say you have grown in numbers. What demographics of the numbers have you grown? More entrenched liberal Democrats? Soft balling your very few elects who post at E Democracy.
I certainly have not read a vibrant debate of any issue at SPIF since I left.
I am not concerned if City officials comment at my blog. I KNOW THEY READ! You know why, because we are talking about them!
And occasionally I send out invitations so they can defend themselves.
I tell ya though if any City official running for office had the courage to tell the people here A Democracy why they should be elected they would have sold the toughest crowd in the City and surely would win the election on merit and not lip service.
I think the only problem with SPIF is that they never let anyone know why someone has been kicked out or gagged. Anything they do to sanction a member is always kept confidential. This isn't employee practices - it's a friggin' community web site. Can't there be some openess to the whole process?
Hell no, they won't honor their public commitment!
That isn't what they are about.
"LIBERAL INDOCTRINATION POOL"
That is why they got rid of Tom Swift, Bob, and they have tried time again to get rid of Mitch Berg.
We can count the conservatives on two hands that are, or have been members there.
I have to give it to Mitch.. He's still in the bowels of that cesspool and battling the injustices of liberalism.
3:26, come on some fine Democrats post here and I wouldn't say this is the bowels of conservatism.
Some of Bob's pleadings sound very ultra liberal to me.
3:31, I don't know where you get off saying I am ultra liberal.
I want the old jail renovated into housing for the working poor to provide them with an affordable rooming house putting dollars in the tax payers pockets instead of subsidizing housing for the 400 and some people this could house.
I want mentoring programs for at risk youth. This is costly up front but it will save us money in the long run. Mentoring will save lives, and end generations of poverty in some families. We as tax payers will save money on policing, the courts, corrections, and health care.
Sorry for the off topic folks I had to address what to me was the equivalent of name calling.
SPIF want people that can be led around by the nose. Most of the people on there are too cowardly to have an opinion different than their leaders, so they have their place and we have ours. I like it that way!

My suggestion for improving SPIF is to create a "SPIF Gone Wild"
version
where the likes of Tom Swift, Renee Jenson, Sharon Anderson and Bob
Johnson
(and Martin if he feels that's a good use of his time) can post
uncensored
on any topic that they like, as many times as they like, in whatever
manner
they like.
If Mitch Berg strays too far from the facts in his posts we make him
spend
a week with the "Gone Wild" crew.
Sounds like a win/win to me! :)

I just looked, I don't seem to have Mr. Hills email address. I sure would be mighty grateful if someone will provide me with it or send him an invitation to A Democracy.
Mr. Hill, I see you conveniently throw Sharon's name in the mix.
I don't see how she fits in the group you mention.
Renee, Bob, Mitch, Swiftee, Martin all have credible issues and they get their point across with effective communication. Is this what you fear Dennis?
Tell us Dennis, you are an angry little man aren't you? Are you a Thune supporter and feel Davey is getting beat up just a little to much?
Censor the truth when it is to much to bare, right Dennis?
Who ever dragged this little man over here for a spanking, thank you.. It felt good to blister his ass.
It is the like of you Dennis that got me censored from SPIF.
Hi All,
After reading 9:06 post I want to clarify something to the readers.
Many unnamed citizens of Saint Paul have been effectively censored so to speak from SPIF.
There were people posting at SPIF under the cloak of secrecy because they have been threaten and harassed by City officials and they need protection.
SPIF refused to provide these people with credible stories any protection.
Instead the leadership of SPIF waged a campaign to expose the identities of these people with these very serious allegations against the City.
This was the birth of A Democracy.
I provide the protection of anonymity. Since the beginning of A Democracy we have had City officials comment on topics. We have had several interest groups expose some very serious issues.
And last but not least we have provided a place where anyone is welcome regardless of economic, education, or social status.
Call us the Wild Bunch or crazy but one thing nobody can call us is LIARS!

9:05, the following link is humour. I hope this isn't the reason you label Swiftee.

Bob, this wee man won't come play on our play ground. We play to rough for people like Dennis.
There is a few SPIFers who have come here and opposed us. They are in the A Democracy Big Kahunnas Club.
At the top of the list is
1. Chuck Repke
2. Erik Mitchell
3. Lee Helgen
4. Martin Owings.
I hope I haven't forgotten anyone for such an honorable award. :-)
Well, well Dennis, I believe you violated SPIF rules.
Your post could be considered a "personal attack" on not one but many people. Of coarse you are an entrenched brown noser at SPIF so you have no regard or worry about any rules. Rules are for "those" other people right?
Good thing we have this blog to hold you SPIFers responsible for the things you say at Saint Paul Issues and Forums.
I don't post at Saint Paul Issues and Forums any longer.
I'm sorry it is a sounding board of people happily hearing from others the things they like to hear.
Sure this blog is a bit wild. But, it is interesting and fun at times.
If there was a middle ground between SPIF and this blog we would have the perfect public forum.
And who doesn't like wild?
Who doesn't just love it when there is a chance to hear some dirt on someone?
The only reason all these people pretend to be so self rightous is so they can pretend to be something they are not. The ones that yell the loudest about anonymous people making wild accusations are probably the ones who come here the most.
The ones responsible for chasing off the people from SPIF are the same ones that know exactly what is going on in the city, but for their own personal benefit, they choose to kiss the ass of the corrupt city officials. These people are like a bunch of band groupies!
Hill have you had a housing code inspection yet?
I Love your blog Bob, it celebrates free speech. It's a place where we can say what we want without fear of reprisals or censoring. I am free to say I think Al Oertwig is a sick puppy, that Tom Swift is a narcisistic blowhard, or that Bill Dahn is the strongest reason for the proliferation of contraceptives. If only we could see this on SPIF.
I am happy to be part of this public forum. I have participated here from the beginning.
So much has come to the public's attention through the efforts of those who participate here.
I heard rumours you were thinking about quitting Bob. is it true?
I hope you keep it up. This get together here has become a part of my day. I think you maybe to close to the issues to see the effect you are having on others.
I want you to know your efforts are not in vain.
Peace
East Sider
Here is another SPIfer for the Big Kahunnas Club
RICK MONS
East Sider, I am not going any where.
In fact A Democracy will be going through a transformation in the coming months.
The little blog that could, is going BIG TIME!
