Hi All,
I was listening to 100.3 FM and low and behold there was an advertisement by Matt Engel Attorney at Law.
The very same Matt Engel who is representing a number of the RICO plaintiffs we talk about right here.
Matt is a great attorney and so is John Shoemaker the other attorney of the RICO suits.
Let's hope citizens with concerns over housing issues find these guys.
Racketeering Attorneys are hungry and moving in for the kill is what the headline should be! I suppose now that they have spent years gathering the evidence they are now ready to sue on behalf of every man, woman and child in the city.
I hope they sue the crap out of this city. Half the people on the East Side know what they are doing and they try to play dumb about it.
These guys are no dummies. They are getting the future clients ready for the onslaught against the city and their illegal tactics
Looks like the writing is on the wall to me. The minute I heard the part about property rights in that commercial I thought to myself that these guys are going to bring a lot of lawsuits concerning all the other people the city has screwed over.
Mr.Engel was a Super Attorney of the year in 07.He was ranked among Minnesota's elite attorneys coming up.They had his picture and all in the magazine.He's super smart and a wiz with the computer.
As if the current budget mess insn't enough. This is the last thing we need is "super lawyers" circling the city like buzzards.
The City asked for it and now they are going to get exactly what they deserve. Hopefully followed by the Justice Dept. and FBI and criminal charges. You corrupt City officials and inspectors better be ready to see how you look in stripes because you are going to jail where you belong.

Just a couple of months ago we heard from the esteemed Mr. Choi (the city attorney) claiming the RICO suits were depleting the city's resources.
Matt Engel one of two attorneys representing the RICO plaintiffs has EXTRA time on his hands. He is running ads for more clients.
Isn't this interesting?
And he'll probably get them. Too late to settle now, the cat is about to come out of the bag so to speak. How does 1 attorney deplete all the resources of a major city any how?

Just to follow up of a previous posters statement. What council aide turned in your friends and is he or she still working for the city? Was this Thune's former aide?

I am calling Mr. Engel today with some information about our wonderful city housing code inspection unit.
I believe it was Barb Bension that caused the death of a neighborhood lady.With what else?Code enforcement.Repke would know more about this.

I need to clear this up. I think a commenter here is referring to my friends Rita and Gary who passed away. They lived next door to Barb Benson.
Rita was terminally ill and the mounting code compliance issues and threat of losing her home to the city didn't help her live any longer that is for sure.
My friend Gary, her significant other of over 35 years, committed suicide over the loss of the woman he loved (Rita). Also, the threat of having his home ripped away from him on top of Rita's demise was an emotional burden he could not bare. He was a large sensitive gentle giant of a man. I miss both of them dearly.

Barb Benson is the one that pressured code enforcement on her.Ask Chuck Repke.The point is if they had a bit of a heart they would not have done this.I live in the neighborhood,I know!
