SHHHH! While we listen to words of wisdom from a wise man.
Conscience is the light of the Soul that burns within the chambers of our psychological heart. It is as real as life is. It raises the voice in protest whenever anything is thought of or done contrary to the righteousness. Conscience is a form of truth that has been transferred through our genetic stock in the form of the knowledge of our own acts and feelings as right or wrong. A virtuous and courageous person can alone use the instrument of conscience. He or she can alone hear the inner voice of the soul clearly. In a wicked person this faculty is absent. The sensitive nature of his / her conscience has been destroyed by sin or corruption. Hence he or she is unable to discriminate right from wrong. Those who are leading organizations, business enterprises, institutions and governments should develop this virtue of the ability to use their own conscience. This wisdom of using the clean conscience will enable them to enjoy the freedom.

Well the last time Bush was in a classroom, he was told about 9/11 and he knew about it.
Why would he need a teleprompter for that ?
Jeff Matiatos
The photos say it all...
One guy is delivering a major policy address to the nation.
The other is telling his mental peer group about all the cool horsies his daddy got him on the ranch he bought for him.

Only because you make me laugh with this kind of stuff Bob will I leave you with this comment.
The guy standing behind President Obama is not a secret service agent, he is the US Secretary of Education Arne Duncan.
It also appears to be a press conference with a classroom backdrop, more so than an event.
About two weeks ago Obama unveiled his Race to the Top policy with schools, so the teleprompter is used to relay accurate points of the plan. It seems to be taken around August 31st, you can see Duncan wearing the same tie on that date in this New York Daily News article:

If case you haven't noticed Jeff, we have dropped to 17th in science and 20-something in math in the world. China and India are kicking our buts in engineering, medical and technology degrees. We need to do something, a country full of lawyers is not a good thing.
Bob, you should probably check some of this out before you pass it along.
Eric
This photo says it all, President, VP and SecEd
What the last guy needed was someone to flip the book for him
Let's not forget his all time classroom hit
That was easy.
Eric
This video is a request.
Well Eric, you need only look over your shoulder at some of the Haywired robots you campaign for and try to get elected as the source of your frustration.
These people are either lawyers or one's that have lawyers as friends.
The people are sick and tired of judges and lawyers being the ones always at the root of ruining peoples lives with corruption and evil control of the judiciary.
You are just part of the credibility crap ramming your agendas and plans for a better world up peoples asses. Your intentions sound appealing but have ulterior motives that lean in the direction of a continued assault on the economic stability of this country and of it's national security with your support f illegal immigration.
When the fires get hot, you refuse to confront the truth about the current event's unfolding that simply have cast a black cloud over your friends in city hall.
Case in point, you ignored the posting about the landlords victory in the courts.
But, we here at the blog have always known you to run this sort of game like some of the other moonbat judges and politicians in St.Paul that are more concerned with election results and the protection of corrupt city officials.
Jeff Matiatos
I want to add, I speak mostly of the lawyers who become politicians.
There are some very smart and compationate lawyers out there that really care about justice and fairness.
Jeff Matiatos
Jeff,
I ignored that thread for several reasons:
1. Chuck was kicking serious ass and didn't need any help.
2. You and others are convinced you're learned in the law and therefore absolute in your perception of this case. It doesn't matter that you've been this absolute in each and every step along the way and only to be ruled wrong. I have learned that you can't fight with a pig without getting a little mud on youself.
3. The only part of the case that's left, is something that I have commented on, in support of, for years now.
I am on record over and over right here saying that IF people are being left homeless because of the inaction of their landlord, Then we need to have a policy addressing that, its the city's responsibility. Part of the expense can be attached to the landlord. I challenged one landlord to support this since they are 'so concerned' about their minority tenants. None took it up. Bob thought it was a good idea.
4. Last I checked, I'm not obligated to answer anyone on here and have not been. There are other blogs and plenty of people to get elected. Both are more important to me than complaining on here.
5. Someone didn't like what Chuck was saying so they posted a court record of his- which has nothing to do with the discussion. Your response at 11:15 was a ridiculous attempt at intimidation at someone new with a different view, not to mention off-topic. There was another one suggesting book burning that seemed to embody what this blog has been about for years.
No thanks. Its your world my man, enjoy.
Eric
Point is, no one did their homework on this starting with you.
A secondary point is that you bitch and complain about this people and have no idea who they are. This man is Cabinet member who's been all over the news quite a bit in the last month. ADemocracy shouldn't be your only news source.
As far as politicians with good intentions and destroying this country, I agree. We went to two wars, lifted regulations and gave multi-millionaires a huge tax break, without paying for them with good intentions. We said it would make our country safer by fighting them over there instead of over here, and we'll create jobs by lifting the tax burden off of the very wealthy. And by de-regulating we will lift the burden off of businesses that will help them expand.
That was the intention, the reality is that the Iraq War was one by choice that has cost a trillion deficit dollars, strengthened the ranks of Al Quieda in a place where they had no chance of growing- Iraq. The country that was middle class and modern now has lost most of its educated class, has running water for about 20% and electricity four hours a day.
Afghanistan has grown its Taliban organization to 50 times the size it was ten years ago. The country is corrupt to the bone and when we ran the Taliban out six years ago, we should have followed them into Pakistan and Yeman and finished them off. Instead, we decided to nation build while Taliban built up its ranks to the point that today, they are basically running the country- again. Another 500 billion plus down the drain.
During all of this time, the corporations were shipping our jobs overseas, using our tax dollars to help them set it up. Wall Street, banks, corporate pension boards and etc, took advantage by rewarding 'ghost' investments into predictions and derivatives to the point that its more profitable to cut jobs and invest that money instead of producing more to sell.
All of this came to head in 2008 when then President Bush told us that we were heading for a financial crisis in this country that will rival only the Great Depression unless we begin bailing out banks, investment firms and major insurance corporations. It broke the country. Now you want to put those same people back in charge of things? How much further do you want to drop?
Again, I couldn't agree with you more Jeff, these politicians with their good intentions have demonstrably destroyed our economy and made us less safe in the word.
Eric
So why Eric, do you do continue to offer your assistance in organizing primarily the white mans quest for continued dominance over the people in the election process?
It seems your true inner self recognizes the problems of an American Governmental systyem that beats it's drum only for the desire
to control and dominate the world at the expence of the middle class and out of greed and to dominate the races ?
The Bush and Cheney administration had their way when they, and the United States Congress voted to go to war under false pretenses and lies !!
The Democrats quickly scrambled to defend their decision by playing dumb like it was all bad C.I.A. Intellegence.
Fact is, and we believe that 9/11 was a conspiracy by our own Government to get us into war and the videos of the Towers
" Imploding " speak volumes in support of this contention.
I think it says alot of our presidents that have to rely on teleprompters to address the American citizens.
It's enough that speech writers are telling them what to say.
The confidence in our Government has never been worse and the thing that comes to my mind most is the way we get into these conflicts in the first place and for who and for what !!
The vietnam struggle comes to mind first as well as the Korean conflict. Both conflicts were unjustified and to this day, have netted nothing that was ever intended or contemplated.
It's not going well for the democrats and sorry to say Eric, whatever the extent of your efforts to help these democratic bafoons get re-elected, your party simply hasen't accomplised enough.
Good luck.
Jeff Matiatos
So why Eric, do you do continue to offer your assistance in organizing primarily the white mans quest for continued dominance over the people in the election process?
First, I'm a political professional. My career is politics, has been for years. I rarely work locally. I just don't blog about it, I do it. I've across the country, mostly in the Midwest. Next, what has a white man's quest for dominance to do with this? What white man? You? Bill Dahn? You two are no threat to any power structure except the fact that you are willing to fall for anything and can vote.
Fact is, and we believe that 9/11 was a conspiracy by our own Government to get us into war and the videos of the Towers
" Imploding " speak volumes in support of this contention.
For even writing this you're a f*@%ing idiot and I'm a dumbass for engaging your ignorance. Later.
Eric
Eric and Chuck
I recent nationwide poll as to who the American people would rather see as president:
Bush: 52%
Obama: 40%
Other: 8%
The numbers speak for themselves.
Oh BTW Chuck, were you ever a US President?
Well poster at 10:15, so explain then who's decision it was to go to war ? If I am not mistaken, and I am not, the United States Constitution specifically authorizes that only the Congress can authorize war pursuant to the War Powers Resolution Act
( Public law 93-148 ). So, your Gulf of Tonkin Resolution mentality is shot to hell.
And as far as lies are concerned, weapons of mass destruction was a lie . The Bush Administration and his republican cronies voted 215 to go to war compared with 82 for the democrats.
Again mostly along party lines.
Yes, all who voted for war based upon these lies and other fabrications did so and once it became clear that there were no weapons of mass destruction, and evidence surfaced that substanciated this claim, the only ones to blame is the Government .
What they voted for was to believe the lies .
Wow, you don't understand the powers of the Constitution nor the rights to free speech either. There is no hatered here, it's just you getting your ass kicked here because your one of those political baffons who belong to either the republican or democratic party and doesn't have the ability to think for himself. You let your political party think for you Ha Ha !!
Well if you want to believe the muslims did it, go ahead, give your name and address here and say you believe the muslims did it then burn a copy of the Quran if you choose. Your to chicken shit to do it.
I don't think they did do it so there.
Your the one that does. And just who is " We " ?
Jeff Matiatos
10:15 a.m. is Eric in disguise.
Wrong 5:34.
Unlike you and 95% of the posters here, I sign everything I write. I've been on here for years and call it like I see it. Right or wrong its all in the archives and signed.
See, I believe that if you're going to say it, and actually believe, you should have no problem putting your name to it.
Besides, 10:15 is just as bad a Jeff on this assignment of race thing. He/She thought Jeff was a black man because he said something about the 'white man' and criticized Bush.
Anyway, only a coward makes a statement and accusations without owning up to them, Anonymous.
While I'm here, Jeff you're wrong again. Congress never put forth a declaration of war for Iraq. Why? Because it takes two-thirds and a bunch of other procedures that would have made a lot of the 'activities' being done more open to public. Which in turned would have showed the public the only beneficiaries of the war are corporations and contractors. They got around that with a 'authorization resolution'.
Al Quieda planned and carryout the 9/11 attacks. Period. That's where the blame belongs.
Eric
Oh and for the idiots- All muslims are not Al Quieda. Just like all Christians are not Opus Dei.
So it wasn't the government or Iraq or the muslims, just Al Queida.
Eric
What ever you want to call it Eric their was a " Vote " by the congress to go to what they call a war.
It's called Public Law 107-234 October 16,2002 and was created by the congress .
It sure wasn't written by either you or me.
Now you can say all you want that you believe Al Queida is soley responcible for what caused this resolution of war to happen, a great deal of the country seems to be at odds these days believing that our own Government was complicit in and had a hand in bringing those towers town. WHY ? because they made mountains out of mole hills taking events like Saadams weapons of mass destruction events and other United States interests and topped that off with bringing those towers down and tying Iraq to that event.
Have you ever pondered or bothered to view the video footage of the towers going down and them being imploded ?
Have you ever wondered how an alleged plane attack on the pentagon could be so precise and hit the pentagon as it did leaving virtually no proper evidence that in fact a plane had even hit it ?
Fact is Eric, your probably to busy drumming and propping up your political hopefuls you haven't ever looked into it.
You just want to believe what your told by your congressional and political associations who side with the Government lies that Al Quieda is soley responcible.
But like you said Eric, you call it like you see it and alot of Americans call it like they see it and doesn't mean your right either.
Jeff Matiatos
Gee Eric, Seems jeff busted your again. Eric said :
" Congress never put forth a declaration of war for Iraq " .
I think Public Law 107-234 is pretty clear and if you bother to read it you will learn that it in fact is a Congressional document.
Its not a declaration, which is the power disignated to Congress through the Constitution. All of these resolutions and directives are nothing but chickenshit moves so that Congress can say 'we didn't actually vote for war, we only gave the president the power to decide on action'. But, Congress funds it.
You show your own ignorance by putting it forth without reading it. Its not even as close as the police action resolution we passed in Korea.
Jeff was a lot smarter, in this case, by not arguing the letter of law and sticking with the spirit of law- war.
I was very direct in what I said:
"Congress never put forth a declaration of war for Iraq"
That is factual and correct.
If you think you can prove otherwise, let me know, I've only talked directly to about a dozen members that took that vote over the years.
Eric
Every body knows that the United Nations Security Council is just a bunch of colluding countries drooling for the spoils of riches to be had around the world and will vote for war on the pretext of any event that will justify an excuse to go in there and get them.
In my view, the Resolution of Public Law 107-234 2002 contravenes the Public Law of 1973
which specifically states that the president AND the congress shall convene and approve for our armned forces to go into hostilities.
I see a problem here when we are involving getting the blessings of the U.N National Security Council to go into hostilities.
Our Constitution has no provisions whereas we need to have the approval of the U.N. to protect ourselves and declare war.
But because Public Law 93-148 of 1973 made it clear that we needed both the president and congressional approval for funding of a war, The Bush Administration wasn't sure if he would have the necessary support by the congress to fund it so, He cried to the U.N. and they drafted 107-234 to contravene 93-148.
Got a bunch of stinking lawyers to draft it and sell it to the American Citizens.
BUT, were not buying the stories this Government wants us to believe about who were the real perpetraitors of what happened on 9/11 and for who and why.
At least anyone whoever took the time to research the events, the motives, and the possible people and countries involved, just watch the footage of the towers going down and the alleged plane going into the pentagon.
Funny how they say one of the terrorists ( who was allegedley in one of the planes ) passports was found at ground zero unburned yet the fires were so intense it melted the steel that caused the collaspe.
How can you explain that Eric ???
Jeff Matiatos
How can you explain that Eric ???
Jeff Matiatos
Ummm, easy. You're nuts.
As much as I can't stand Bush and his ilk, I know they DID NOT purposely set out to kill Americans in order to start a war that will only benefit the corporations and terrorists. That's high crimes or treason. Its insane to even think about it.
Didn't happen.
Eric
Really ? How do you know Eric ?
Do you have access to confidential military intelligence ?
Were you in on any confidential meetings with either Bush,Cheny, Rumsfeld, or Rove ?
True, a war would benefit corporations and the bigger agenda of the U.S.A. OIL perhalps ?
Whats insane is that the evidence out their points to a U.S. involvement and cover up with it's involvement in 9/11 and the broader wars in Iraq and Afganistan.
You just choose to ignore it thats all.
Jeff Matiatos
Without Corporations Eric, their is no Government.
So the Government has a special motive to ensure it's survival by doing whats best for corporations if that means starting a war so be it.
Jeff Matiatos
I wonder if peebo has names for his teleprompters.
Probably not but, the economy certainly has a name:
Obama/Biden's 'Requiem For a Dream'
which is the sequel to Bush/Cheney's 'Up in Smoke', proceeded by Clinton/Gore's 'Inglorious Bastards', which was the long awaited follow-up to Reagan/Bush/Quayle's 'No Country for Old Men'.
It appears that the Right is pushing a new on us, 'Snatch', but its much to early for that. Looks like it won't be released for another decade.
Eric
George Bush was a man of breeding and the next president was a
mix-of-kin that would lie about his real religion.
Watch out for that corrupt party, the one Oboma, Dayton and Frankin is on.
How did these guy ever get elected to a federal post.
6:36 you're a racist bunghole and are not a conservative. Hell, with that thinking ('well-bred' and 'mix of kin') you're not even an American.
Go back to India or where ever you come from that have a value on 'breeding'. We screw who we want over here. Has a little something to do with Freedom.
