Really?
I remember something about a war with the British crown, a deal with Spain and buyout with France. Not to mention the hundreds of wars with Indian nations for westward expansion.
Yet, the crowd roars at that statement. They really like to think that God cares more about Americans than any of his other children. That explains a lot.
At least they all understood when he said we need reform thats not a government takeover because that's what we got right. The private companies were handed a pool of 30 million more customers.
Oh and to the rest of his speech, GM is paying us back with interest, as is the bank money we lent. No government run auto company or investment firm.
Great video, shows how ridiculous these people were last September. Today, things are slowly getting better thanks to the steps taken.
