One person was killed and two others injured in a Sunday evening shooting in St. Paul, police said.
Around 9 p.m., shots were fired in the 400 block of East Case Avenue, police said.
When police arrived at 472 Case Ave., they found two people who were shot. They were transported to Regions Hospital, police said.
Witnesses reported an exchange of gunfire and described a purple Dodge Neon driving rapidly and erratically away from the scene. A police officer in the area saw the car and pursued it.
The car was pulled over on Mississippi Street north of Phalen Boulevard. The driver said he was taking his brother to the hospital. However, the passenger was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
The condition of the victims taken from the address on Case Avenue to Regions was 'very serious,' St. Paul Police spokesman Sgt. Paul Schnell said.
Further information was unavailable.

Hey Chuck
It looks like the police can't do their job on the e-side.
More deaths on St.Paul's e-side then in the whole city.
Why is that.
