The following Housing Quality Standards delicienies must be corrected for the St Paul Public
Housing Agent (PHA) to approve the above unit for continuing rental assistance:
1. The egress window in both rear bedrooms measures 19" high. The minimal egress opening required is 24" high by 20" wide.Every bedroom must have at least one egress window.
Reinspection: Not scheduled.

Abatement: If the repair work is not completed. and this unit has not passed the reinspection. the
Housing Assistance Payment (HAP) will be abated on June 30, 2009. The tenant cannot be requircd to
pay the PHA's abated rent portion The PHA cannot pay retroactive rent on an abated unit.
Termination: If the unit remains under abatement for 60 days, the HAP contract will be terminated
The HAP contract may be terminated in less than 60 days based on safety and livability issues at the PHA's discretsion

illegal orders and they should be sued
They aren't orders, you boob.
It is PHA telling someone that has one of their clients living there that they won't pay them if they don't have their property to a certain standard.
And, you clowns talk about the Fair Housing Act...
This is the market telling the owner that they won't pay for unsafe buildings.
