SHHHH! While we listen to words of wisdom from a wise man.
Conscience is the light of the Soul that burns within the chambers of our psychological heart. It is as real as life is. It raises the voice in protest whenever anything is thought of or done contrary to the righteousness. Conscience is a form of truth that has been transferred through our genetic stock in the form of the knowledge of our own acts and feelings as right or wrong. A virtuous and courageous person can alone use the instrument of conscience. He or she can alone hear the inner voice of the soul clearly. In a wicked person this faculty is absent. The sensitive nature of his / her conscience has been destroyed by sin or corruption. Hence he or she is unable to discriminate right from wrong. Those who are leading organizations, business enterprises, institutions and governments should develop this virtue of the ability to use their own conscience. This wisdom of using the clean conscience will enable them to enjoy the freedom.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
History Theatre and McNally Smith College of Music to Host “The Daily Show with Jon Stewart” During the 2008 Republican National Convention in St. Paul
ST. PAUL, MN, May 1, 2008 – The History Theatre and McNally Smith College of Music announced today that they will be host to “The Daily Show with Jon Stewart” during the show’s coverage of the Republican National Convention in downtown St. Paul from September 2 – 5, 2008. The wildly popular show, seen on Comedy Central, has been covering national conventions since 2000. “Indecision 2008,” as The Daily Show’s coverage has been dubbed, will hold its main broadcast at the History Theatre with McNally Smith supplying the show’s technical and support needs. The History Theatre, located at 30 E. Tenth St. in downtown St. Paul, is located on the campus of McNally Smith College of Music. Tickets for the show tapings may be requested at the show’s website at www.thedailyshow.com.
Ron Peluso, Artistic Director of the History Theatre, said, “I’ve been a nightly fan of The Daily Show for years and am thrilled to welcome Jon Stewart to History Theatre for the Republican National Convention. We’ve presented many Minnesota stories and legends on our stage, so hosting Jon and his creative crew is the kind of history we like to make.”
According to Harry Chalmiers, President of McNally Smith College of Music, hosting The Daily Show on the college’s campus and providing technical support is a perfect fit for the school. “We are teaching students about the world of entertainment, whether it’s performance or technological aspects or the business side. Our campus is a state-of-the-art facility for production and performance and we have top industry professionals on our faculty and staff to serve the needs of The Daily Show. It will also be a great opportunity for our students to get an up-close look at how professionals like The Daily Show and Comedy Central operate.”
St. Paul Mayor Chris Coleman also welcomed the upcoming arrival of The Daily Show. “The Daily Show is one of the most relevant shows on television, and we’re thrilled they’re coming to Saint Paul,” said Mayor Coleman. “There’s no doubt that Saint Paul will be the center of the media universe during the RNC.”
In order to host this event, History Theatre and McNally Smith College of Music have entered into a professional partnership. The show will use the theatre during its main broadcast and call on the college for technical and supporting needs. This is the first time both organizations have united for a joint project, and Mr. Peluso of the History Theatre has appreciated working with McNally Smith and President Harry Chalmiers to host this tremendous event.
