Mayor Coleman Partners with E-Democracy.org for Online

Town Hall Meeting

(Saint Paul) - Saint Paul Mayor Chris Coleman announced today that he will partner with the online group St. Paul E-Democracy for an online town hall meeting. The online dialogue will coincide with a series of meetings the Mayor is holding across the city following his third State of the City address last week at Wilder Center in the heart of the central corridor.

"In an increasingly wireless world, having a tool like the St. Paul Issues Forum is invaluable. Giving residents options to engage in government is critical to having a true community dialogue on the future of the City," Coleman said.

According to Rick Mons, volunteer forum manager of the St. Paul Issues Forum, "we think of the St. Paul Issues Forum as a kind of ongoing town hall forum. Having the Mayor bring his State of the City message to the forum is a great way to engage members of the community who are unable to attend the public meetings, for one reason or another. "

Mons also said "anyone who wants to join us in this electronic town hall meeting can visit http://forums.e-democracy.org/groups/stpaul ... if they have any problems participating, they should send an e-mail to StPaul-fm@e-democracy.org."

St. Paul E-Democracy is a volunteer-based organization that seeks to empower, inform, and engage citizens in the public life of our community, through the use of the St. Paul Issues Forum and other online tools for citizen engagement.

In addition to the online meeting, Mayor Coleman will also host a series of five community meetings through the end of March to discuss the City’s progress with residents. The Mayor encourages residents to attend the gatherings to participate in an active discussion on the state of the city and how we best collaborate to move Saint Paul forward.

Scheduled Community Meetings include:

March 18th, 5:30-7 p.m. in Meeting Room 31 at the Wellstone Center for Community Building at Neighborhood House, 179 Robie Street.

March 19th, 7-8:30 p.m. in Room 112at the Hubbs Center for Lifelong Learning, 1030 University Avenue West.

March 25th, 7-8:30 p.m. at the Como Zoo & Marjorie McNeely Conservatory Visitor Center Porch, 1225 Estabrook Drive.

March 26th, 5:30-7 p.m. in the Ecolab Room at Metropolitan State University/Dayton’s Bluff Branch Library, 645 E. 7th Street.

March 27th, 5:30-7 p.m. in the John B. Davis Lecture Hall at Macalester College, 1600 Grand Avenue.

Hi All,

We have seen in a photo right here at A Democracy the red star painted on a Saint Paul Issues and Forums members home. Just so happened a campaign sign of Councilman Dave Thune was in the front yard. Oh yeah, that's right, Dave is a member of SPIF also.

Many of us have seen the commie tactics used at SPIF to silence the truth seeking mission of a democracy through free speech.

Mayor Coleman you have taken your rightful place among like minded folks.

As they say, "you made your bed, now lay it"!

Our embedded moles will be at your electronic get together Mayor, and we will also be discussing the dialog here in a real electronic town hall meeting.

What a BOLD FACE LIE!!!

Even if you are a dfler and you oppose the "dfl cliq" at SPIF you will

first have your identity questioned.

Second you will be chastised and belittled.

third your spelling and grammar will be ridiculed

fourth you will be banned from expressing your opinion.

They are not on a truth seeking mission like this forum. At SPIF they are on a indoctrination mission.

If this forum was anything like SPIF Bob would have gotten rid of Chuck and Eric a long time ago.

Hey anyone remember Councilman Helgen coming here and inviting us to the neighborhood meeting at the Bruce Vento Elementry?

Wow! Helgen you have some balls!

I bet you thought that was a good idea until Bob and Bill of the Watchdog News paper showed up and started asking all those tough embarrassing questions of you over housing and code enforcement issues.

Hey Lee didn't you try and kick Bill and Bob out of the meeting? That's right you did! Hey everyone, councilman Helgen is a member of Saint Paul Issues and Forums also.

It's starting to look like a full blown communist conspiracy to me.

I too will never return to SPIF..

I went through "hell" expressing my opinion at that forum.

At the SPIF forum they want you to prove your identity if you disagree with a clic of posters who are on the excutive committee and members at SPIF

Members at SPIF were allowed to make sexual remarks about my name with no sanctions of any kind because I held an opinion contrary to their beliefs.

My grammar and spelling were made fun of. I was treated and talked about like I was some dumb heck and there was no consquences for the members who acted childish toward me.

My identity was a constant struggle for the SPIF executive committee. The executive committee even wanted me to meet with them and show my proof of my identity, which I did!

On the surface there is rules for civility. In reality the rules only apply to those who disagree with the dfl click at SPIF.

I am not a republican or a democrat. I am a Libertarian. I believe in free speech and I protect and encourage opposition here at A Democracy.

One last thing before I take my grand son out for lunch.

Given all the information I have on the city hall defenders of SPIF and this city's leadership in attempting to bury the truth on so many issues, I feel the title of this post is appropriate.

Well Bob......I read your "cheap shots" section and I hope you don't let it bother you. There's all kind of people who will come here to steal attention for their own cause, stick up for the city's civil right violations against people, etc. and no one listnes to a word they have to say. They fail to realize we have a job to do here and it's going to get done by whatever means it takes. If that means deleting people that have nothing to add, so be it. If it means being a hypocrite, who cares other than the few who want personal attention for their selfish needs. Keep up the good work.

Grace Kelly, Bob Spaulding, Erik Hare, Rick Mons, Tim Erickson, Andy Hine, Bill Kahn, Michelle Fure and ANYONE else from that forum who disagrees with me to come here and debate this issue.

I know the truth is a fearful entity to some of you folks.

Chuck Repke senior a Saint Paul Issues and Forums member and dfler has threaten to rip a posters head off and sh*t down his throat.
Bpb hasn't banned him.

Chuck Repke Junior threatened people here physically. Bob invited him to continue to post and also offered up some support.

NOBODY else but dflers have threatened to harm people here for having an opinion.

You dflers don't get your way you stomp and kick and threaten people like thugs.

I think Bob has been more than fair in attempting to support the voices of opposition here.

Councilman Helgen, dfler, and "memeber of Saint Paul Issues and Forums" has a mean streak too. This is the kind of people the mayor has choosen as bed fellows.

How bout ending all this doubt and suspicion into the housing inspections program and develop a civilian review board?

Bob if you want debate from SPIFers here, why not bring the comments left here back from your backyard. I'm sure it'll generate some discussion.

I've seen Eric and Chuck go after people who have threatened them.

This thread is typical, they haven't posted here and still they are being called crooked and corrupt. Eric has threatened people who he thought were being disrespectful in a racial way and Chuck pretty much laid it on the line for those who thought innocent tenants were fair game while going after him.

Republicans took us to war in Iraq where we lost almost 4,000 American lives, 180,000 Iraqi (men, women and children) while Al Quaeda and Bin Ladin were elsewhere. When dflers like Chuck and Eric move into that category, give me a call.

Does the mayor even know them? Someone said they were bedfellows but I haven't seen them talk personally about the mayor like Chuck does Thune, and Eric talks about himself. Hell, Chuck and Eric even got into with each other over who should be President. Peas in a pod they are not.

Frankly, it would be tough for me to fight everyday with people who use fake names and anonymous but still go out to spread rumors about you and take pictures of your home to post. That's creepy and i'd probably threaten you too if it kept you away from my personal life. Or, shoot you on site.

Martin Owings hasn't been around lately either.

People never have liked the anonymous posters wether it be here or on SPIF. It takes away thier ability to come after you......like the threatening note that was left on Bob's door in his final days at SPIF. If you speak out about the worng things in this town, there are people that want to crush you like a bug.

11:37 PM
Anonymous Anonymous said...

OK -two things, first thanks Mark. No doubt that I can get pissed and I don't like bullies or cowards and I particularly don't like people who share both traits.

As to a civilian review board for housing code violations. First that is what the City Council is... and before you say how much BS that is, if you had some other kind of civilian review board, it would be appointed by the Mayor and approved by the council and you would have no respect for it either.

That is the issue with most of the posters. They never take the time to volunteer to be on any of these boards or committees and don't respect the work that they do.

As to the comments about SPIF the main difference there is that people do have to sign their real names and can't hide behind fake ones.

Call it what you want Chuck, but the Legislative Hearing process is nothing but a sham. It's a rigged process just like the Ramsey County Courts when the city railroads the property owners through it. The outcome is determined well before the apreallant gets there.

Chuck, 11:37 PM has it right. When one complains against a city employee they are targeted. I know because this has happened to me and as seen here it has happened to many others.

Mike Smith of Highland said it correctly, "How bout ending all this doubt and suspicion into the housing inspections program and develop a civilian review board?"

This civilian review board of the housing code compliance is needed to have a oversight of a system that has been called into question and many courtcases.

7:08 AM
Anonymous Anonymous said...

Oh and just to follow up. This civilian review board needs to be made up of actual citizens from a cross section of the city and not political appointments.

The citizen review board could turn into just another mess like the districe councils and committees where the DFL has controlled the process and make up of these boards.

We all know what Lee Helgen did to Susan McCall.

Chuck said; That is the issue with most of the posters. They never take the time to volunteer to be on any of these boards or committees and don't respect the work that they do.

First of all, Martin Owings has never posted here very often. And the last time he did post he exposed Eric for being a bully at a neighborhood meeting.

I don't blame people here for posting anonymouisly with dfl thugs all about. And what is the point of getting on a committe or board Chuck when the path has been set forth by the entrenched dflers like you. Citizens don't need to subject themselves to the dfl thuggery.

My response,

Their isn't a sole among them other than Chuck and Eric with the guts to come here and face the truth. Chuck and Eric are spin masters for the dfl.

Some poster claimed we have penis envy here over SPIF, what a joke. You can't envy something about somebody else if they don't have it.

As far as posting anonymously here. I don't cast blame on the anonymous posters for posting anonymously here. Many of them have experienced first hand the retaliatory methods of this city's dflers. I have experienced the threats and intimidation tactics for being outspoken publicly against this commie regime myself.

The A Democracy News letter will be distributed in the neighborhoods surrounding these meetings the Mayor set up.

I want citizens to know what kind of forum SPIF is. I want them to know there is alternatives to this cesspool of dfl indoctrination.

Spin masters for the DFL???

Well I have been called worse.

Bob, I thought this was a "truth seeking mision..."

I have no idea how you seek the truth with out asking questions and having debate. That is mostly what Eric and I do, other then when we are fending off bullies and cowards.

Eric and I don't agree on everything. He has drunk the Obama kool-aide and has visions of a utopian world. I on the other hand believe in hard work and fair play, but I'll get over his failings.

I come to this site because your the only place to debate the City's housing policies and I think that it is a worthwile debate.

I can't learn how to improve the affordable housing situation and the vacant building issues unless I hear all sides.

You know as well as I that there are plenty of people that come here with their mouths open and their ears/brains closed. They refuse to see the impact of bad property management on their neighbors. They also make some pretty bazar assumptions about elected officials and how they think.

I'm just trying to give the other side.

Chuck, I have volumes of respect for you and Eric. I don't agree with your positions. PERIOD!

Chris Coleman knows that SPIF is an indoctrination pool of the dfl party. It serves NO OTHER PURPOSE!

To attempt to try and sell SPIF to the public as a free and open market of debate is a farce and a scam on the citizens of this city.

Chris should be ashamed of himself. He is only attempting to advance the dfl strong hold on this city. This one party rule has lead to corruption unequalled since the 1920's and 30's.

(coming out of self-imposed banishment with three day old beard and all)

Chuck, I've got two glasses of the Obama kool-aid when you're ready for a drink of hope.

To the rest, I am a dfler. So are 70% of the people in Saint Paul and a majority of the voters in Minnesota and half of the country. Sue me- wait, on second thought, don't.

I don't work for the dfl. I don't work for the city. I don't contract with the dfl. I don't contract with the city. That also includes county, state and federal. Half the dflers I know would love to see me not be involved. We don't conspire in some room or restaurant on taxes programs or code enforcement.

I'm not a bully. I'm not a pushover. I'm an Eastside guy. Martin Owings will tell you there would not have been a confrontation if Martin didn't come back to the meeting and hour and a half after he left, looking for one. We have resolved that misunderstanding but, the fact is, we exchanged words, he left and returned at the end of a meeting (clearly not there for discussion) and we had a confrontation. Sorry if you guys don't understand that sometimes Eastsiders work things out differently than you from Highland Park. We also are more real about it which is why Martin and I can count on each other.

My approach to this site has been-

1.everybody (dfl or city council or city employees or RC Courts)cannot be involved in anything together. People are too self serving to conspire to level that you have marked them.

2.point number one doesn't ignore that fact that there are possibly some corrupt INDIVIDUALS within each of those groups. However, you miss the forest for the trees when paint with a broad brush.
For instance: that kid that shot the other has absolutely nothing to do with me. Yet, I read on some comment sections how blacks are doing this or doing that. Well, I didn't do shit. Why should I have to be lumped in with a criminal? Why should I have to explain to grown men racist views are illogical? I shouldn't no more than you should have to explain why most child molesters are middle aged white guys. Should I act like you and keep my children away from every middle aged white guy? No. Just you.

So, hence my frustration that I can't even discuss an issue which here is about power and economics, without some yahoo ALWAYS getting bigot spot in. So, the hell with all of you.

3. Code enforcement is a good thing. There are some clear inconsistencies that need to be addressed but, overall its good to have standards of decency and have them enforced with fairness.

4. Poor tenants have had problems with landlords/slumlords for years and I have never seen the 'good' landlords rise to take on the bastards that are ruining your name. NEVER.

5. people only care about their viewpoints being confirmed. So when counter facts are presented, the messenger is shot dead. Over and over.

When Chuck gives a procedural answer to why _______ can't be. Its not responded to with any factual opposition, just that Chuck is in bed with Thune and they are getting rich and only looking for their buddies. OK- but where the counter to what was laid out? Nowhere.

6. the only way to remain sane is to just come on here and give some juvenile shots. It's where every single post ends. Besides, its damn hard to have a real discussion with unknown people who threaten you.

7. too be welcome here, you must have a vocal irrational belief that the city is out to get you, communism is real, SPIF is evil, and all governmental agencies are corrupt.

later Suckers,

Eric

OK Eric, to clear the air! I say, after you and Chuck have been in the Town Hall it's like everyone lite cigars! Wow! I need some air!

Eric, you claim you have no political interest, and yet when you joined the blog over a year ago you had stated you were the Democrat Secretary or something like that.

Also you have received significant pay outs from the Montgomery for city council campaign. If my memory serves me right you received 2 checks for $2500 each.

I just don't want you to paint this picture of yourself like you come to this blog with clean hands of any political affiliations.

The use of the word COMMIE. It's "political humour" and fitting for the way this city's leadership has violated numerous citizens rights over housing issues.

And as far as the Ramsey County Courts go, many of you will be interested to know I will be posting the RICO plaintiffs exhibits proclaiming the Ramsey county housing court has been corrupted.

Eric said;
So, hence my frustration that I can't even discuss an issue which here is about power and economics, without some yahoo ALWAYS getting bigot spot in. So, the hell with all of you.

my response;

Eric, Froggy and George are clearly the type of neighbors the city uses to condemn a home over behavioral issues. Froggy and George claim alliances with the city, not this blog. They are products of a aging white society.
So there you go your bigots are pals of this city.

George and froggy, I know you don't believe you are bigots and you probably never will. I appreciate your input here if you are reading.

Question Eric and Chuck- Do you believe a renter should be notified of his fourth amendment rights before a housing safety inspection?

It is my opinion the VAST majority of renters do not want a government entity in their dwelling ever.

Eric said;
7. too be welcome here, you must have a vocal irrational belief that the city is out to get you, communism is real, SPIF is evil, and all governmental agencies are corrupt.

My response- now you know that isn't true Eric.. I have stated over and over you and Chuck were valued poster.

As far as SPIF, they are a bunch of left wing political activist trying to sell their forum to the public under false pretenses. Jeeesh, ANYONE in the know, knows their GAME!

You prove my point endlessly Eric. You come here to spin and disparage the truth with very little impact.

I don't see any of those SPIFers running over here to claim what I said isn't the truth.

Eric said;
When Chuck gives a procedural answer to why _______ can't be. Its not responded to with any factual opposition, just that Chuck is in bed with Thune and they are getting rich and only looking for their buddies. OK- but where the counter to what was laid out? Nowhere.

My response- I think this is some what backwards Eric. It is really tough to get a straight answer out of you or Chuck without getting dizzy as hell.

I 'spin' the truth?

Its on Bob.

Let's break away from the macro description and be specific. When have I stretched the truth?

Its not stretching, spinning or lying. Its just the truth and you feel like its a lie- because its so opposite of what you believe.
--------------------

I hold different party offices at different levels. Again so what? I have yet to be invited to that backroom where we divy up interests. I found my actual campaign experience to be more influential than a party office. The only people that care about that are activists, not elected officials.

Yep, I made some dough as a consultant to Debbie.
Did you happen to notice who the DFL endorsed? Melvin Carter III.

I'm such an insider with all of my experience in politics as you put it, and Debbie had 40 years of service to her community that she worked hard to rebuild after Rondo destroyed (and her house) and protect as a cop all of those years yet, I wasn't able to deliver her the endorsement. Debbie got a damn good deal from me by the way. The party decided it was time to move on. What are you going to do?

To further give you some insight, working a campaign puts you in no position to benefit from the government. They hire other staff to work their offices and people who have business with the city/government usually donate to the campaign (you ever hear of Bush Rangers and Pioneers?). Campaign staff work independently of the taxpayers dollar.

You should be nice when speaking about Debbie. Many of her supporters are your kind of people. Heck, some of them have probably even donated to you. As far as I go, let's just say I won't be crossing any streets where she may be driving on.

And for the record I have been a campaign staffer for Congressional, Gubernatorial, Presidential and state legislative campaigns too. That was my job for a decade. I studied politics in college and made it a decent career. I got to not only work throughout Minnesota but throughout this country. Started off knocking on doors and building coalitions in rural Northern Minnesota. I've earned my chops brother the old fashioned way. Met a guy named Chuck Repke about 10 years ago on one of those campaigns.

Bob, you were ridiculed on SPIF and you have it out for them. You know it, admit it. You hate them. I post one hundred times more on here than I do on SPIF. I think you may be able to find four SPIF postings in the last four month by me. Hell on here, I'll four done by midnight. You may want to describe me as an A-Democracy Agitator more than a SPIFer. I am a DFLer. Again, so what. 70% of the city, 50% of the country agree.

Communist don't violate your rights. You have no individual rights under communism. A better more accurate (in what you're trying to say) insult would have been Socialist.

George and Froggy and other like them are no more friends of mine than you are of the child molesters. The insult is analogous in the feeling.

HEY! LOOK OVER THERE!

Tom Swift,
Please point out the contradiction.
Or, use that balding mullet of yours to actually look up the definition of 'is'.

Using your logic, you work for Wellstone. Now, I know you're a misogynistic, anti-everything individual, and therefore not a fan of Wellstone. Yet, you sold out and took a contract to work on his bus at one time. So are you or are you not a Wellstonian? You Hippie.

To further use your logic, George Bush IS AWOL from the Air Gaurd and is a drunk. You see, Bunny Balls, the past is not static.

The definition of 'is' is, I don't work for the dfl. I did work for them years ago. I then spent a few years as a political consultant to Democratic candidates and elected officials. I now spend some time volunteering a my dfl meetings and conventions, as my real job is not elections and campaigns anymore.

You being a former Republican activist (and rejected candidate for office) you know that the party offices mean squat. It may mean that the party activist like you 50% more than they like the other person. Although you took it further and actually made a stab at getting on the taxpayers dole.

Debbie was one of my clients, from January to April, when I was still working in politics but again, she wasn't the DFL choice (go back and look up that word WAS and crosscheck it with the word IS Chachi). I thought she had produced enough and was right for that Ward that needed someone who would be a little independent. She was that person. It appears that Melvin is going to turn out to be an advocate for that Ward now.

Find someone else to be your Chump. I'm over-qualified.

Eric

The COMMIES are posting at Saint Paul Issues and Forums.

From: Michael Wood Date: Mar 20 18:10 UTC Short link

I warmly point out that the Gus Hall Action Club, a Marxist-Leninist Communist
club, attended the St. Paul Mayor Chris Coleman’s Town Hall Meeting, Tuesday,
March 19 at the Wellstone Center for Community Building in St. Paul,
MN...carrying Communist signs that featured the cover of Gus Hall’s "Working
Class USA" and the slogan: "Ford Plant: Public Ownership is the Answer" along
with our club’s name and logo. I, wearing a winter cap with a Soviet red star
pin with a red flag, carried a "super communist" sign with a picture of Marx,
Engels and Lenin and the words: "Public Ownership is the Answer! Save Union
Jobs! People Before Profits!"

We sat in the front row with our signs raised throughout the Town Hall meeting.
Mayor Coleman, recieving questions and comments from the crowd, called on me to
speak. I, identifying myself as a member of the Gus Hall Action Club, requested
that Mayor Coleman act in his capacity as St. Paul Mayor to fight for the
nationalization of the St. Paul Ford Plant as a means of guaranteeing job
security and preventing the closure of the plant next year. I respectfully
criticized the Mayor and the St. Paul Ford Site Planning Task Force’s plans for
a mixed-use development of the Ford Site--a solution which would not save the
plant and, as I said at the meeting, "would occur on the ruins of a closed
plant." And I pointed out that my reading of the city’s plans did not lead me
to believe that the promised "job creation" after the closure of the Ford Plant
would be union jobs.

I stressed that the closure of the St. Paul Ford Twin Cities Assembly Plant is
not a "done deal"--if there is action to nationalize the plant and continue
it’s operations under public ownership. I warmly pointed out that tax-payer’s
money had been used to finance production at the St. Paul Ford Plant for many
years and said: "What tax-payers finance, tax-payers should own."

It became apparent that St. Paul Mayor Coleman did not anticipate my questions,
as he flushed visibly and moved uncomfortably at several points during my
speech. Chris Coleman, in his response to me, articulated that it was a tradegy
that the Ford Plant was closing...but did not deal with the question of
nationalization as a means of saving the plant and guaranteeing job security. I
spoke again, requesting to know what the Mayor thought of the concept of
nationalization of the Ford Plant. His response claimed that he lacked
information.

I warmly, in an effort to provide more information to Mr. Chris Coleman and the
members of this group before I call on Mayor Coleman to act in his capacity as
Mayor, share words by the great Communist Gus Hall which can apply to the
situation of the St. Paul Ford Twin Cities Assembly Plant:

Gus Hall spoke of plant closings and said: "The threat to the jobs of workers,
to the cities and city services--the threat to the public welfare--deserves not
only sympathy, but immediate action. This is our one and only serious concern,
because it is the most important and vital of all human concerns. In fact,
nothing else really matters. Nothing else takes priority over people’s needs
and welfare...

"There is nothing wrong or illegal in the government taking over these plants
because there is one sacred and inalienable human right that supersedes all
others. And that is the right of the people to make a living--to be able to
eat, pay rent, raise and educate their children. (This is a)...solution to the
crisis of plant closings." (Gus Hall, "The Working Class Answer to the
Deepening Crisis, " 1979)

I warmly point out that I call on Mayor Coleman to convene an emergency
moratorium on the closure of the St. Paul Ford Plant. The necessity of public
ownership and the nationalization of the St. Paul Ford Plant as a means to
guarantee job security and prevent the plant closure must not be taken off the
table. The Mayor could draft emergency "plant-job saving legislation" or other
creative ways to prevent the closure of the plant and the loss of union jobs.
The slogans on our Communist signs say it all: "Ford Plant: Public Ownership is
the Answer! Save Union Jobs! People Before Profits!"

A hypocrite is someone who questions another integrity while hiding behind a fake name or no name. A hypocrite is someone who lies on others while deceiving everyone.

Your anger toward Eric seems personal. Do you know his mother? What if she's passed on? What makes you think he's a hypocrite or would 'sell his own mother'. DFL-SPIF-Lawyer all seems to be consistent. For some reason, you seem to have relented control to what Eric says or does. I'd say they have a lot of control over you on here. He said what he had to say and left. Or, are afraid to take them on straight up? You wait until they're gone.

Swiftee may prove to be interesting. I think he can go round for round with Chuck or Eric. That will be a good one.

Its interesting the one who leave their real name are the most engaging.

Maybe you should read what Eric wrote and try to take a break this weekend from all of this silliness. You seem so bitter and angry.

In my town, our government is a real circus. We got good DFLers and bad ones. The good ones are back in control and hopefully we can stop some of the nonesense.

A Democracy's truth seeking mission has prevailed once again.

Good morning 1:31, sleep well ?
You are right about the definitions of a hypocrite.

I can tell you that I am not one just because I dont post my name here and it doesnt make Eric or anyone else here more or less of one if at all.

To say that at any given time we havn,t all acted like one is to defy human nature.

Never seen you post here Mr.Johnson ( excuse me for addressing you as Mr. ).

You probably dont even know Eric like most posters here do and I am sure Eric understands that the term " sell his own mother " is a figure of speech.

I would be surprised if we see anymore postings from you Mr.Johnson since I dont recall you
as someone who posts here on a regular basis.

You kind of sound like Bob Johnson !

This is his blog.

So 10:59 are you suggesting I am Mike Johnson?

I post here with my name ONLY. I take pride in putting my name next to my beliefs.

Also, technically this is my blog. Speaking from my heart this blog belongs to the citizens of Saint Paul.

I'd like to think that my haircut is a little more up to date than Bob's. Just kidding Bob. I hardly have any left.

I'm not Bob. I like reading this blog and wish we had something like it in Maplewood that people paid attention to.

We have had a wild two years with our politics. Funny enough, it was the Independents, Republicans and DFLers who were/are corrupt. It was DFLers who ran for the council and quickly turned some things around for the better.

I know you have the opposite problem in Saint Paul. Let me tell you from experience, I believe its the person who makes the difference not their party affiliation.

Since I did use my real name, you can look up tax records or whatever you guys do to try and expose people you don't like and you'll see plenty of information on Michael Johnson.

No Bob, I am saying that 1:31 Sounds like you.
I didnt say you were 1:31 a.m. .

Its your Blog so you should at least post with your true identity.
Seems alot of your blog fans dont.

Why is that ?

Aside from yourself, most of your posters dont seem to have any.

I happen to be a citizen from St.Paul so excuse me if I dont leave my name, but that doesnt mean I dont have any pride.

Sorry Mike Johnson, I didnt mean to insult you by saying you sounded like Bob.

Thanks Mike.. Your opinion is welcome here whether anyone agrees with you or not. Welcome aboard!

Folks, please give Eric due respect.

He comes here vastly out numbered month after month day after day and stimulates dialog.

All Eric is asking is to leave him out of the debate this week end. That isn't to much to ask for someone that contributes here as much as Eric does.

My response;

Sounds like you need a tour of the backyard 12:26. Stick around we have a "sentence of punishment" that will be carried out there later today against a poster who pissed me off before my morning coffee.

Read through the blog. There is many posters who use their name. Many don't because they fear retaliation from others.

We don't post our names for the ssame reason you don't post yours.....we don't want trouble with the city...if you know what I mean? If you don't, I'd be more than happy to tell you all about it.

The fact that we don't leave names doesn't mean the facts abnd the evidence revealed to date are any less credible either. There are jsut some people who don't want the truth to come out so the actions of their beloved DFL'ers are exposed and the guilty held accountable.

Eric informs: "I am a dfler. So are 70% of the people in Saint Paul and a majority of the voters in Minnesota and half of the country."

Wow, thanks.

That explains bathtub drownings, pet rocks and why there are directions printed on shampoo bottles.

"Find someone else to be your Chump. I'm over-qualified."

Hey, don't sell yourself short sport. I see real potential in you.

Martin Owings - says

Hello Friends,

It's true, I haven't posted at SPIF since the big "Anti Free Speech Blowout" in late 2007. In that blow out, Mitch Berg was suspended and even though he and I differ ideologically as I do with Tom Swift, I consider them both friends in the cause of Free Speech.

It was the last straw for me and even though I lurk from time to time, SPIF is NOT committed to having an HONEST and OPEN dialog, they're more concerned with rules and ego.

In the meantime, I invite you all to tune in on Saturday nights at 7:30 p.m. to my Internet Radio Program on Radio Free Nation.

http://www.radiofreenation.blogspot.com

Or just GOOGLE "Radio Free Nation"

You can also get the archives and podcasts of past shows.

Last week we had four of the 1961 Mississippi Freedom Riders on the program to discuss their experiences integrating the bus stations of the deep south...it was powerful stuff.

Hope you're all doing well!!!

Martin Owings says,

ok, In my shameless promotion of my NO PROFIT radio project I forgot to mention my original point...which is that I think this blog, created by Bob, is by far more substaintly committed to FREE and OPEN dialog then SPIF has ever been.

And for that it deserves our support and recognition. Keep up the good work Bob and THANK YOU all for contributing.
