KSTP/ Burnsville Man Arrested, Jailed for Siding Code Violation
Throwing this fella in jail cost money. Our city leaders in Saint Paul aren't stupid, why spend money when you can make it?
Here at the town hall all of us have been educated in housing issues in Saint Paul. If this fella had owned this home here he would have not gone to jail.
Strapped for cash with a house in this condition, the city would have swooped in like vultures, slapping this guy with inspection fee's and so on evidentially condemning the house and throwing these people out into the street.
Given circumstances here in Saint Paul with housing, Dude your lucky all you got is jail! I wouldn't have started a project without having the resources to see it through.
Nancy's home in St.Paul was torn down after she did all the remodeling and had it up to the so called St.Paul City Code and she was leveling the first floor -- with a heavy duty screw type jack capable of lifting a river barge and the city condemn her home after Cindy Brucato from KSTP CH. 5 New did a story on Nancy's home, She said in her news report that the house was held up with a hydraulic jack and being who she is, people believed her comments on Nancy's lovely home and popular opinion thinking Nancy's home was unsafe and ready to fall down and the city condemned it and torn down in just days.

Yes I remember this. It was sad Bob Kessler and Steve Magner ripped off Nancy.
Steve Magner and company are still doing these kinds od things.
