SHHHH! While we listen to words of wisdom from a wise man.
Conscience is the light of the Soul that burns within the chambers of our psychological heart. It is as real as life is. It raises the voice in protest whenever anything is thought of or done contrary to the righteousness. Conscience is a form of truth that has been transferred through our genetic stock in the form of the knowledge of our own acts and feelings as right or wrong. A virtuous and courageous person can alone use the instrument of conscience. He or she can alone hear the inner voice of the soul clearly. In a wicked person this faculty is absent. The sensitive nature of his / her conscience has been destroyed by sin or corruption. Hence he or she is unable to discriminate right from wrong. Those who are leading organizations, business enterprises, institutions and governments should develop this virtue of the ability to use their own conscience. This wisdom of using the clean conscience will enable them to enjoy the freedom.

Dave Schafer owner with his lawyer Pat Oneill deserve Credit to fight the City.and Thune.
www.sharon4council.blogspot.com Further Chuck Repke has been testifying alot lately at the Council Meetings,
Chuck looks good but losing a lot of weight. Chuck are you OK?
Thanks Sharon, actually I lost a lot of weight a few years ago and could lose a few more now. Still over 200 and not getting younger.
As to the Wild Onion.
The law is you need 90% of the property owners to support you to get an outside patio. Or you need 60% of the nearby property owners and the support of the District Council.
The Wild Onion had less than 30%.
The only reason the thing gets any hearing at all is because Thune was trying to work with the guy and this is how he repays that by suing him!!!
Typical of those that expect that the laws shouldn't apply to them and that only they have property rights, not their neighbors. There is no chance he wins the suit and this is just an election stunt from the GOP candidate against him who had her coming out party on Grand Old Day at the Wild Onion.
Sorry Sharon, you aren't the GOP's darling in this one either...

Chuck Repke
2:26 - The comments are pretty much what you would expect. The people who understand the law support Thune and a bunch of GOP hacks are writing a bunch of BS.
The law is the law. You need 90% of the neighbors to get approval to serve liquor outdoors, or 60% with District Council support. The Council would have to very from the law to alow it otherwise.
The law is to support good businesses and protect people's property rights.

Chuck Repke
With all due respect Mr. Repke, I am NOT A GOP candidate and you need to get your facts straight before throwing out delusional opinions on my candidacy for city council, representing Ward 2. I am running because for city council because I believe ENOUGH, IS ENOUGH! Ward 2 belongs to the PEOPLE and your former boss Dave Thune.
As a native, born and raised in Saint Paul; I know firsthand how far Saint Paul has fallen while represented by current our councilmember. We the PEOPLE are going to take our City (the city we love) back!
FOR THE record, I represent no “special interest” and if you knew me you would know that! Quite playing politics, the game is old and when are you going to figure out the PEOPLE see right through this. You need to find a new angle, this effort is getting old. But we still love ya anyway; even though we have never met.
