Melvin Carter will face multiple challengers for St. Paul City Council seat
City Council hopeful Johnny Howard-
Howard says he’s worried about the city’s seeming indifference towards building and improving rental properties. He also believes that the city’s Safety & Inspections Department lacks accountability. Howard proposes creating a civilian oversight board for the agency similar to that which scrutinizes police conduct.
“I’m just not happy at all,” Howard says. “I just don’t have a lot of confidence right now in the area’s leadership and representation.”

From what I've heard about Johnny Howard's past work in Frogtown, I think he would be an excellent city council member.
Bob G.
The city of Saint Paul does not have leaders.
If Howard wants to make changes, he should be the right city council.
Melvin Carter needs to leave.
Today Sharon is demanding the Video from Midway Rainbow, Carter's Area Police are not doing their jobs. If we he Consumer cannot go Grocery Shopping then something is WRONG
www.sharon4council.blogspot.com PS Bostrom is the Arcade Rainbow antoher HotBed for Theft etc.
I have some concerns with the news of Johnny Howard running. Property investor Les Lucht has said he was running for the city council too,
this could split the vote among all concerned.
I know Les, if elected to the council Les will not be swayed or intimidated from his position.
I will send out pree statement.
On me running for city council in
ward 5. Bob, I will send you copy of it.
