SHHHH! While we listen to words of wisdom from a wise man.
Conscience is the light of the Soul that burns within the chambers of our psychological heart. It is as real as life is. It raises the voice in protest whenever anything is thought of or done contrary to the righteousness. Conscience is a form of truth that has been transferred through our genetic stock in the form of the knowledge of our own acts and feelings as right or wrong. A virtuous and courageous person can alone use the instrument of conscience. He or she can alone hear the inner voice of the soul clearly. In a wicked person this faculty is absent. The sensitive nature of his / her conscience has been destroyed by sin or corruption. Hence he or she is unable to discriminate right from wrong. Those who are leading organizations, business enterprises, institutions and governments should develop this virtue of the ability to use their own conscience. This wisdom of using the clean conscience will enable them to enjoy the freedom.

New Substation To Open On West Side
The Saint Paul Police Department is very happy to announce that a new substation will open in the West Side neighborhood. The office will be in the Neighborhood House in the Paul and Sheila Wellstone building at 179 E Robie. The new office will open on April 3rd and will be open from 10:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M. Monday through Friday.
Assistant Chief Tom Smith, a life long resident of the West Side, said this is great step in providing more access and greater police visibility to West Side residents and patrons of Neighborhood House and the Paul and Sheila Wellstone building.

Now, I am confused. Here is a building that was attracting Riff Raff and they get a police sub station to deter crime.
Now, if you own one of those neighborhood corner stores, own a bar, or are a landlord and need help, every time you get a call to the property it is a mark against you and can mean big trouble and the possible lose of business license or certificate of occupation.
Is the tide turning and the police and powers that be decided they better start doing something effective concerning crime instead of holding innocent people accountable for our social ills.
Maybe it was cheaper to move in the Police than tear it down.
A friend of mine tipped me off to this site last week.
Wow,my regards to the host.
I agree something needs to change I am a business man on the east side. I have had problems with roaming thugs hanging out in front of my business. I call the police and they tell me if I get to many calls I could lose my license.
They tell me to hire a security guard. What do I pay taxs for? The Saint paul poilce is the security I pay for!
I have been made to feel like the bad guy when I seek help from the police.
A few years ago when the cost of gas started going up the owner of the gas station at Lafayette and University had a very large increase in the amount of drive offs. After calling the police so many times, this guy told me that the police told him that he would get into trouble for being a nusiance if he kept calling so much.
The best thing a person can do is get a gun and protect themself or move out of St.Paul. If you can't call the police for help without there being consequences you might as well do the police work yourself and take the consequences for defending yourself and probaly get off easier.
The best thing you can do is get out of town.
I know of a gas station in St. Paul, who had video of a guy, a clear picture of the individual and a license plate number and the St. Paul PD did NOTHING.
They stated to the gas station owner, you could take them to civil court to get your money back. Why have laws if they are not enforced.
