A DEMOCRACY BREAKING NEWS!

Representative Dan Severson demands the Governor and Attorney General take action.

Representative Dan Severson, a champion of protecting the rights of the citizens, made a bold move today and sent a criminal complaint with over 600 pages of evidence to Lori Swanson, Minnesota Attorney General.

The complaint and evidence expose the criminal actions, in violation of state and federal law, taken by certain members of the judiciary against the People of the state of Minnesota.

Severson has been contacted by citizens throughout the state concerning corrpution in the Minnesota Judicial branch.

Earlier this year, he introduced a bill that would have the citizens control the board that disciplines the judges.

The People of the state of Minnesota will no longer allow the judges to violate their rights. Representative Severson stands with the citizens and demands the courts will be conducted according to our laws.

NEVER before has a member of the Legislative branch called upon the Executive branch to investigate crimial activities (state and federal crimes) in the Judicial branch.

If the Governor and the Minnesota Attorney General fail to act, federal contacts have been made to charge the Governor and Attorney General for malfeasance in office.

Before you all start singing praises to the high heavens, take a look at Dan.

He is a highly partisan political operative who's complaint could be simply based on a political agenda. Which means if he gets his way 100% (never ever happens that way), you can get one extreme judge replaced with another on the opposite extreme. A Nazi for a Fascist is a no gainer.

Its going to take a citizen not a politician to get to the bottom of this. These guys are worried about getting 50% plus one at their next precinct caucus not cleaning up corruption. Dan Severson, Lori Swanson and Tim Pawlenty. Three partisan pigs.

What is the proof behind Dan Severson champion any rights of the citizens? Please educate us.

It's about time someone goes after these judges. The city of St Paul had meetings with the Ramsey County Court system to fix the cases they brought against the landlords and the landlords that are suing the city have the proof of it. The city was stupid enough to give them the handwritten notes detailing the meetings. I know this for sure becasue I know someone in those lawsuits.

Judge Motts rememeber that name when he comes down.Shame on him for fixing the courts so landlords had the deck stacked against them in TRA cases.

Thanks to the brave landlords that have stood up against this city.People slander you and take away your property but you still fight. The rest of us landlords could learn something from you and unite to form a stronger bond.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart!Repke we are not all slumlords.Remember that.

So someone tell me where that landlord group sparl has been through all of this. I don't ever remember hearing anything from them about all these civil rights violations.

Sparl received support from the City, so rather than stand up for the right thing, they kept quiet. Quite a chicken shit thing to do seeing as they were suppose to represent landlords.

December 13, 2007

Lori Swanson
Minnesota Attorney General

Dear Ms. Swanson,

I am contacting you in my official position as the Representative of the People of the state of Minnesota, and as a Citizen of the state of Minnesota. It is with the profound concern of the rights of the Citizens and the Laws of this state that I am writing you.

For many months, citizens have been coming to me with evidence of misconduct in the office of a number of public officers in various counties in the state. Citizens and members of the legislature made attempts to bring this evidence to the grand juries in multiple counties. All efforts to bring the evidence to the grand juries have been blocked.

I was able to secure the name of the grand jury foreperson for Ramsey County, Christina Becher, and I sent her a Criminal Complaint concerning crimes done against a Citizen that is in active military duty. Christina Becher gave the Complaint to Charles Balck of the Ramsey County attorney’s office. Instead of properly handling the matter by contacting your office and having you handle the matter, Mr. Balck gave the Complaint to Chief Judge Greg Johnson of the Ramsey County district court.

The secrecy of the Ramsey County grand jury’s investigation has been virtually eliminated by the actions of Mr. Balck. Chief Judge Johnson was absent any authority to hinder or direct the investigation by the Ramsey County grand jury.

And, we are still faced with the real and immediate problem of public officials violating state and federal statutes.

It is the duty of those in service to the people of the state of Minnesota to ensure that our laws are upheld. Equally, there is evidence of the commission of federal crimes by state officials.

Accordingly, I am asking that you convene a Special Grand Jury and that the federal authorities are contacted and work in conjunction with us.

Attached is a Memorandum that sets forth the applicable law concerning the situation and evidence that I have brought to your attention.

Please contact me by December 22, 2007 with your response.

Sincerely,

Dan Severson
State Representative

Governor Tim Pawlenty

Dear Governor Pawlenty,

For many months, Citizens have been coming to me with evidence of extreme misconduct in office of many public officers in various counties in the state.

Citizens and members of the legislature made repeated attempts to bring this evidence to the grand juries in multiple counties. All efforts to bring the evidence to the grand juries have been blocked.

I was able to secure the name of the grand jury foreperson for Ramsey County, Christina Becher, and send her a Criminal Complaint concerning crimes done against a Citizen that is in active military duty. Christina Becher gave the Complaint to Charles Balck of the Ramsey County attorney’s office. Instead of properly handling the matter, Mr. Balck gave the Complaint to Chief Judge Greg Johnson of the Ramsey County district court.

My concern is that our Military personnel are not being properly protected in our courts system and this case addresses those concerns.

I have asked Lori Swanson, Minnesota Attorney General to convene a Special Grand Jury. I have given the Complaint and all supporting evidence to Ms. Swanson.

Given the seriousness of the federal crimes, I suggest that we jointly seek assistance from the Minnesota
U.S. Attorney General.

Sincerely,

Dan Severson

This is the agenda by the republicans to have judges run as party designates. You people are too wrapped up into your case to see how much more damaging it can be for judges to be more like politicians and only care about the endorsements.

Let me put it this way. The most populous areas are DFL dominated in the state. What kind of judges do you think will then make up the majority in this state?
They won't even be worried about coming to the people because all it will take is a few dozen people to endorse them and they're in.

In Dan and nancy's area they will get their conservative judge or two but, for most of the state it will be DFL judges. The state is divided into 67 Senate Districts. The DFL has a super majority of those seats. Doesn't matter who the governor is.

Its not a smart move.

Leslie, how many complaints from poor tenants do you have?

If we were to talk with former tenants, what would they say?

I know. Should I tell the rest of the blog?

I'm going to take a picture of Swathmore property over on the east side and we'll see if bob let's me publish it. Fair is fair.

Couple of slumlords fooling a lot of you.

There's no sluml;ords fooling any of us, and the sound bytes and character assassination you fucking liberals try to pull off isn't working any more either.

Why is it that you never mention slum tenants that destroy the place faster than the landlord can repair it? You liberal repsond by saying we should "screen tenants better" and the rest of the populous thinks your an "Eintien" with the magic soloution to all the city ills. People like 12:57 are just enough to make you sick reading thier BS. Go ahead and publish all the photos you want, ubt it's not going to change the fact that the tenants are the ones teaering the properties apart not the landlords, and the city of St Paul enables them by continuing to let them use the inspections department as leverage to get free rent and free Attorneys from Legal Aid every time they get into a jam. You don't know what you're talking about 12:57. In fact the more you talk the more stupid you sound.

I had spend about $5,000.00 to $10,000.00 in repairs per year per unit.

Why don't you sign name to your post. I rent to sec.08 tenant and the poor people. That all that rent in frogtown.

Or fail to pay their rent. Your name the tenant and I show you my proof. hey, cathy Royce

You go along with Dan and what he pushing for and you'll have a state full of liberal judges- there will be a few conservative ones but, none will be accountable to the people, only their party bosses. Not your issues, or our justice.

I don't want any judges being a part of the corrupt political system.

Every solution is not the right one and i learned a long time ago that politicians only support your causes when they're getting something out of it.

I have some news for you 7:11. It is going o be the landlords who are the ones crushing you. You seem to think it's OK to violate everyones civil rights but yours as long as you get what you want. You could probably achieve the same ends by demanding that the Police do their job and that the politicians show some leadership instead of finding scapegoats to blame their problems on like landlords, drug dealers, hookers, etc; but then you couldn't have your PC attitude and feel good all the time could you? You wanted the party and you had it and now your going to pay for it and you will not like it when your taxes go through the roof. You'll be the first one complaining then too!

And this is a good example of why the city is in the mess they are in. There's wide spread corruption within not only the ocunty, but the city too, and just like the representitives the people send to represent them, all they are interested in is calling people slumlords and whatever the current sound bite of the day is. Did it ever occur to any of you that maybe if some people's civil rights are being violated that maybe your civil rights are going to be at risk sometime in the future? You are nothing more than a fool 7:11 and in my opinion you don't deserve any rights.

And Nancy what do corrupt judges have to do with code enforcement? You are all over the board.

St.Paul Citizen (George)and not Bush

8:31 AM
Anonymous Anonymous said...

To George

You want to know what the Ramsey County Courts has to do with Code Enforcement?

I'd be happy to tell you.

Way back when the city had private meetings with the Court. The City told the Court that they were going to be bringing property owners into the court on charges and they not only wanted certain judges to hear those cases, but they wanted an assurance from the Court that certain Judges WOULD NOT hear those cases. The Court agreed. Then members of the St Paul City Attornys office and the Police Department went to the "special Judges" chambers to train that Judge. After they had the Judge trained to do what they wanted they then started railroaded property owners through this court on every trumped up code violation they could think of. Certain city leaders at the time wanted every single citizen in the city criminalized and prosecuted no matter how minor the code vilation. Hundreds if not thousands of lawabidng and hard working people wound up with criminal records and their pockets picked fopr huge fines as a result of this. Many lost their property.

If it seems like Nancy is all over the board, it is because the corruption within the court is all over the board.

So there.....now you know and you don't have to talk like you are stupid any longer.

9:47 AM
Anonymous Anonymous said...

George,

you have no ideal that the bullshit that the council and the mayor is doing. That is why their is alot of vacant homes in St.Paul.

Because of their codes compliance
program. And now that want to start on homeowners. There will be more vacant homes.

This start back in 1996, they (dfl)
wanting more new homes in St.Paul
and bigger yards for the homes.

To bring people back to st.paul.
And lower crime rate. By kicking
out the poor people out of st.paul.

So, who is the shitbag? You will be next one their list.

When the city take away you rights.
What will you do ?? Just stand there and take it. I was taught to flight to keep my rights.

I have been to places and see what
happened when you do not flight to keep you rights.

And george ask any city council member , landlord and or legal aid
person. About me and they will tell you that I keep my units and work with tenants until they burdened me.

I feeling that you are calling me
A shitbag. I take that personal.
because you do not know me.

You are just other asshole to me. Just like Randy kelly. said frogtown
full drugs dealers and prostitution.

That not case. just because someone said something. You believe
them. That is stupid. You to get fact first then make you mind up.

So, you saying that I don't make good English. I should not be a landlord. Well then who??

When talk to city council or mayor
they do list. I do get things done. But in middle of their bullshit I just let them screw them-self.

And you show me that you are couch head and do nothing type of person. Yea, you say some shit
when it comes time to do something.
You will be on the couch just dreaming about things.

When they come knocking on your door to tell you fix or lose it.

It will be to late. Then their take your house. And you are in cold still pay mortgage on that house that they torn down. Who will being crying then.

That is why you flight for what is
right. And what the judges are doing is not right. They are made up minds on case before you have chance to explain you side of the case.

George

You better start praying that the city does not come to your home and start telling you how fix things or they torn it down.

The really crappy thing is that no one came come to court and have a fair hearing. Everything is distorted, manipulated, mistated, misquoted and in the case of the city of St Paul, outright lies are given as evidence, and the judges give the benifet of the doubt to the government. They hand down rulings that are completely opposite the wieght of evidence and often times you wonder if the judge was even in the same courtroom. They all derserve to lose their jobs and sued into poverty.

I have been to housing court and I have seen what Leslie and Nancy are talking about.

What I saw in housing court was really something and I could not believe this was actually happening in St. Paul, let alone the United States of America.

It was more like a Kangaroo Court than a court of law. Note to George, I have been in law enforcement and I am ashamed at what I saw. I did not go into protecting people to do the kind of shit that I saw in St. Paul’s housing court.

Nancy is really onto something here. I see that Steve Manger is quoted in the Pioneer Press today about vacant homes.

No everyone is blindly behind the city, some of us are old and have seen a few things.

Treating people like dirt this is not right.

6:19 PM
Anonymous Anonymous said...

They just like to push people around.

8:21 PM
Anonymous Anonymous said...

This is one of the things that the crooked and fixed Ramsey County Court does to people:

First the city either either outright lies or grossly exaggerates the code violations.

Then they start a civil lawsuit against the property owner known as a "Tenant Remedies Action."

Now is when it gets interesting.....they don't have to serve notice on you of the hearing, and they frequently DO NOT. They can and DO schedule the hearing within 24 hours of issuing the papers. It is considered sufficient notice to attach the court papers to the property in question....one that is usually not lived in by the property owner.

Now they are able to get you into court without your being there to contest the citys lies.

If you do happen to find out about the hearing from maybe a tenant or neighbor who sees the papers and you do show up in Court you have No right to a jury trial. You have No right to an extension of the hearing to be able to find an Attorney to represent you unless the other side agrees, and they never do. You have No right to have the Judge removed as you do in all other lawsuits. The Judge who will hear the case has already been hand picked by the city and agreed to by the Court.

In all of these cases the City is trying to take away the property from you and give it to an administrator to fix up the way they want it fixed (with no regard for cost or efficiency or the lowest contract bidder) and charge you for the cost. They use this as the "lever" to force you to agree (under duress usually) to these expensive "code compliance" which everyone talks about and typically costs between $50,000.00 and $60,000.00.

Most of the time the City demands that the landlord pay for the tenants to live in a hotel while this goes on for months and month. This is just an added measure to make sure the landlord does not survive and either sells the property for next to nothing or goes bankrupt.....in either case, the lanldord has spent so much money on the property they have to raise the rents to a point where the poor people who used to occupy this property caqn now no longer afford the rent on it, so then the landlord has to spend more money to buy them out of the lease.

This is the policy and practice for cleansing the city that George proudly boasts that he is in support of. I'll bet your a real proud type of guy aren't you George?

You don't know it all. "Builted"? WTF? Your spelling is bad but, you sentence structure is atrocious.

If I was with the city, I'd just have you write out what you want, take it court and watch a jury laugh your ass out of town.

A conspiracy between the courts, city and cops? That's the case I want the media to follow. It will show that the slumlords are nothing but users of government gaurantees through the poor. Being a slumlord is the last bastion for the uneducated, unskilled lazy man.

Finally, Nancy is nuts. She tried to assualt a city worker last month. You all deserve each other. Here in Saint Paul, the weak will not prevail and rest will be fine.

Now go and fix your damn units before code enforcement kicks you again.

He isn't as thick skinned as other posters who post here regularly.

Leslie has made it clear he desires to sue individuals who use slanderous insulting statements against him. I know Leslie well enough to know he is prepared for legal battles.

So,, to protect myself and the integrity of this forum if the anonymous poster wishes to keep insulting Leslie you will have to provide us with your identify, or I will delete all personal attacks on Leslie. WHY, should I be responsible for your false statements against Leslie?

A word about Leslie. Leslie is the image of a citizen who is living the American dream. He is a blue collar worker at a well known major industry in Saint Paul. Working 40 to 55 hour's a week. After his JOB he maintains his rental properties as if he lives in the homes. He is NOT a slumlord, lazy or stupid. These types of remarks are usually used when someone feels they are losing an argument. They seek to distract from the dialog at hand.

The belittling is CHILDISH. I don't care if you have an English major, when you start belittling someone it is a statement about ones self. SO,,,, who really looks bad here?

Leslie do not let these rude comments keep you from speaking your mind here.

And to the insulting anonymous poster, your opinion is welcome here. Please find a better way to get your point across.
